Naphtali Showed Tamie around the house , they both surveyed all the arts and craft From African picture frame arts to other artistic wallpaper designs,

Desmond really liked things relating to history, arts as well as culture . So he Flooded the house with all sorts of nice and colourful cultural designs.

" This Place really is amazing i haven't seen anything as beautiful as this in ages , " Tamie said

"Uhmm Tamie ?" Naphtali called as she was accompanying Tamie.

" Yes what is it ? " she asked

"I'm sorry but i wanted to ask, my brother, he said you were trapped somewhere For 20 years , how did that happen and who did such a thing to you, as Naphtali asked this question, her cheery Mood changed slightly .

" Naphtali ... " Tamie said as she was a bit shocked by this girl's sudden change.

"don't worry about it hmm , I'll tell you how it all started but that will be later," she said

"i really want to know about everything now , and ... and ... How come you look so young, like you're 16 or something when you are more than 20 years old ? " Naphtal said with a curious look on her face.

"uhmm well it's kind of a long story , and uhmm ... I'm much more older than you think," she said .

"way way older."

"What!? ohh my ... " Naphtali exclaimed .

" well i guess i can tell you some of the memories i can recall mm... okay I'll tell you my story," Tamie said .

" Guys !! breakfast is ready ! Ohh and Tamie , Make sure you don't stay obsessed with my cooking too much , because when it comes to stuffs like this , I am simply the best , " Tomisin said with extreme confidence as he walked up to them in boldness with a smirk on his face as he was wearing a peach coloured kitchen apron

" ohh Tomi !! how did you do it? so Fast ? you are the best bro I'm Starving , " Naphtali said as she moved over to give him a hug " now now , don't make me blush , " he said as he ratted her gently on the head .

" That's great it's been a while since I've tested something , Tamie said with a relieved expression on her face .

wait What ? " Tomi and Naphtali exclaimed

" hmm we don't know about you at all ... okey ? I've come up with a great idea , why don't you tell us about your story after we're done eating I'm sure it'll be great if you can talk to someone about it,"he said.

" Ohh ... alright Naphtali also said the same thing , okay i guess that would be nice. "

ok great hey Naphy ? " Tomisin called to Naphtali as she was still hugging him.

" huh ? What ? " she asked you two should

go get washed up and come eat , take Tamie with you while i set the table ,

i've already had my bath , " he said as he walked back to the Kitchen

" wait what ? you are unbelievable , you had your bath and made breakfast in 20min? What are you Tomi ? " Naphtali asked " haha don't make it sound too unbelieveable , that's how we gugs do stuff , " Tomi winked From afar.

"ohh well hate to admit it but it's true in a way oxie doxie , come on big sis let's go take a shower" , she said as she held Tamie's hand " Ohh...Uhmm what's a shower ? " Tamie asked looking a bit confused " Ohh yeah i forgot , you didn't have these in your days , well don't worry you'll see when we get there come on now , " Naphtant said as They both head for her room .

" ohh okay i'm right behind you " Tamie replied .

Now they were both in Naphtali's room , ther room was somewhat big and like Tomisin's and Desmond's , it had the Both room and restroom which was for private use and it was quite convenient . "okay so the first thing you do before taking a shower is to pull off your clothes , also you have to wrap a towel around your waist as you enter the bath room , " Naghtani said as she handed over a ed towel to Tamie .

" ohh okay , thanks , let me full off my clothes , " Tamie said as she was about removing her clothes .

ehhr.. . You know what , I'll just wait outside , " Naphtali said , in an anward way

" no ease , If you don't mind i'd prefer if we had our bath together because that's how grew up , we all had our bath's together back then, although this is my first time doing it in a Modern way , " Teme

said with a sad expression on her face .

" ohh ... alright if that's what you want, Naphtali said as she pulled off her Pijamas and wrapped a towel around her Chest .

" okay ! let's ... go ... " Naphtali said as they both entered the bathroom.

Desmond came out of his room , dressed in a blue shirt and was wearing a black William West Jeans , as his looks were asore official than unusual today . He buttoned his shirt as he went to the Kitchen to take a look at what was giving off the delicious aroma his nose beheld at the moment and when he got there he saw Tomisin dishing out the food in a take away package.

"ohh boy... Tomi... This smells delicious what did you make?"

"yeah... You know, one of my best african dishes; fried rice, fish stew, chicken stew and more, all seasoned with the greatest of all my secret recipes, i call it; the Big Bang," he said as he expressed the depth of his illustrative feelings.

"wow it even sounds delicious, what more can you give bro?" Desmond laughed.

"yeah i know right? So... What happened where you went yesterday? Tell me every single thing that has been going on before now, the things that i'm not aware of or else, no...food...for...you.," Tomisin said with this threatening look on his face as he was pointing a big soup spoon at him.

"what? Seriously bro? Why this torture all of a sudden?" Desmond sighed.

"start talking," Tomisin said.

"jeez okay i'll tell you, but not everything, i went to Obi forest,i sensed that there was a portal to another dimension there, it was someone that induced its existence, the person did so by sending that monster we saw yesterday to steal my necklace..."

"what!?? Someone was controlling that thing? but...but how? And how is the necklace connected to the portal?" Tomisin asked."it's not an ordinary necklace, it's like a key to opening secret gates to an alternate world but it is only connected to specific parts in that world, if a person opens one gate in this world it will only access one area in that world, if the person opens more in this world it will access more areas in that world with similar structures."

"hmm so it's like it has an inverse relation to this world," Tomisin said.

"yes and if more of these portals are opened it will eventually access the parts of that world that are teeming with entities like those monsters," Desmond said.

"woah! How did you find Tamie? Was she there?" he asked.

"yeah she was but it was by luck that i was able to save her, he i was there anytime late, she would have died because it seems like the person was after her too but i can't really say anything for sure, and the reason why there are no monsters or entities yet is because the portal that was open in the forest doesn't seem access the shelters of those things but i did felt presence of something else, i'm not sure what it was," Desmond said.

"i don't understand any of this at all... Looking at Tamie's face shows that she's gone through a lot,"Tomisin said.

"there's no doubt that he is going to come for her again but before then you'll have to utilize your powers, it will be of great help once you get the hang of it."

"who is this person anyway? I don't like this one bit, how can we close all these portals bro?" Tomisin asked.

"huh? Not we, you mean me, i've already said too much,now if you don't mind, let me take my food and go to work, please? I've already told you what you need to know, ohh i almost forgot to tell you, whatever you do, don't reveal your powers in front of people, once you do there is no telling what might come for you, let it be a secret, i don't know if Racheal and kevin will keep quiet about it but make sure you tell them to," Desmond said as he brought out his detective badge and pinned it to his manly waist belt.

"do you think i'm still a kid? I already told them to keep it a secret. And i can help you you know, it'll make your job a lot easier," Tomisin said.

"nope! I can't risk putting anyone of you in danger, for now just keep working on the training scheme i gave you, and make sure to be nice and considerate to Tamie, it's just like you said, she's gone through a lot. Not too nice though if you get what i mean." Desmond winked.

"no way bro, not you too," Tomisin looked away, nervously.

"hahaha... I was just kidding let me get going, be a good boy hmm and look after the girls while i'm gone," Desmond said as he grabbed his food pack and brushed his right hand against Tomisin's silky hair.

"whatever, i'm not a kid anymore stop treating me like one," Tomisin said.

"bye, i'll see you guys later," Desmond said, closing the door to the living room.

"humph! Whatever! At least you should be grateful that i wanna help," he said to himself as he continued setting the table for breakfast.

"i promise, i'll use my new power for good, i want nothing more than to protect those close to me and even more, the ones i care about," he thought as he looked at his right hand for a moment.

"okay! Now everything's ready, guys! It's time for breakfast! Come eat!" he yelled from the dining room.

"we're coming!" came Naphtali's petit voice from her room.

she and Tamie had both finished having their baths. They quickly wore fresh dresses and went to the living room where the dining table was all set.

"uhmm...what.. Is this?" Tamie asked as she was surprised to see all these fine african delicacies set on the table.

"what? You mean you didn't have any of these back then?" Naphtali asked as she picked a seat and sat at one side of the table.

"uhm yeah, although the meat stew looks a bit familiar, most of the things I was opportune to eat were smoked sea food and some other things my dad used to make, but this...this is amazing, you made them?" she asked nervously as she also picked a chair and sat gently on it.

"ohh my, please don't make me feel super, yes this is all the doings of chef Tomisin," he said with a boast of confidence.

"hey Tomi? I hope you didn't cook all the food we have in this house because i don't know why you made too much of...literally everything," Naphtali smiled in a mood of tease.

"of course no, well... if we don't finish all of it, then i'll just save the rest in the fridge as leftovers so no need to panic, besides, we have a guest so i decided to go all out so as to make the table less lacking in some areas," Tomisin said as he began serving himself some food.

"...i don't know what to say, you two are too kind to me," Tamie said as she was looking down at her legs.

"nahh! it's nothing but there is actually someone better in cooking than Tomisin in this house," Naphtali said with a deceptive smile on her face.

"what? Really? Who!?" Tamie asked as she was eager to know who it was that was better than him.

"huh?" Tomisin's eyes began twitching.

"ohh! It's cute little me, i'm the best yo! Haha!" Naphtali giggled with an innocent expression on her face.

"Naphtalia...do you want me to smoke you alive?" Tomisin grunted as his eyes were starting to give this piercing look.

"hehe, sorry that was a mistake, i was just kidding," Naphtali said, submissively as the glare with evil intent was already piercing her mind, in short, she was scared.

"better, humph!" he said in a calm voice.

"okay, let's eat, you guys can serve yourselves," he said.

"hmm wow what's this green thing? It tastes splendid," Tamie said as she ate a spoonful of fried rice.

"it's called fried rice, it's my specialty," he answered.

"yeah! That's the only thing he likes cooking, no offense bro," Naphtali teased as she also ate a spoonful.

"huh?" he said.

"it's great, i love it," Tamie said in an honest but yet reluctant way.

Naphtali saw that her face was not having this look of happiness so she thought of something that will lighten her mood back up...

"hmm okay how about you tell up your story now?" she said.

"yeah please tell us," Tomisin added.

"ohh... Okay, my story," she repeated as she looked down on her plate recalling her past memories...
