Why couldn’t I find something decent to wear? Although I’d woken up earlier than unusual, Time wasn’t on my side, I had to be at the courthouse in less than an hour.

There was a heap of clothes on the floor of my walk-in closet and more discarded outfits were being added to it. If it wasn’t too tight it was too obvious. Prying eyes would be able to tell and I wasn’t ready to answer any questions.
