22 Chapter 22 - Ancient Dragon City

''Let's eat something'' Ye Feng said to the girls, the sun was already high-up into the sky and the heart was ridiculous.

''Y-yeah, that would be great'' Ye Ziyun said while grabbing a bunch of lunchboxes from her Spatial Ring and put a cloth on the ground for the three of them to sit on.

''Ning'er, what are you doing?'' Ye Feng asked in curiosity, Xiao Ning'er had been smiling with a bright smile since morning while looking at him.

''Nothing~….'' Xiao Ning'er responded while eating a sandwich in a graceful manner.

Ye Feng just smiled, how couldn't he know? This girl's heart was finally at peace and she could finally live how she wanted.

Ye Feng shrugged and ate something himself, the girls had put a lot of effort to learn how to cook whenever they had some free-time or had to take a break from cultivating so they could cook instead of the servants.

After all, it gave them a sense of privacy when there weren't any servants around that they loved, just some peace and quiet.

After lunch, the three of them set out again and crossed another few mountains before finally arriving at their destination.

Ancient Dragon City, a city that was considered remote in the Ancient times before some dumbasses pissed of the Demonic Beasts....

As Ye Feng, Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er reached the top of the last mountain, a small city appeared that was covered in trees, bushes and grass while the buildings were broken down with broken roofs, fallen walls and broken windows.

''You know, I get the feeling that the word 'Ancient' is quite fitting here'' Ye Feng said while they climbed down the mountain according to the map in Ye Feng's head.

''Mhm, it looks like it was trampled by Demonic Beasts'' Xiao Ning'er said while Ye Ziyun nodded aswell while looking at everything in fascination.

''I got a few places that I want to search at, Lets first go to the schools in this city and after that the Church where the so-called Dragon was hailed as a God and at last, we will search through the basement of the City Lord Mansion'' Ye Feng said while walking alongside the broken-down roads.

''Okay!'' To happy voices sounded from behind Ye Feng who followed him quietly.

For the next few hours, the group of three flashed through the roads while searching for treasures.

''This school's secret vault is empty!''

''This one aswell!''

''This one has a few Cultivation Pills for Gold Ranked Demon Spiritualist!''

Ye Feng and the girls finished the three school secret treasury that he had found in the books he read and sighed, this really wasn't going too well...

''Although the Gold Rank Cultivation Pills are pretty good, they are still not worth us coming here for since they are only 20% better than the one we have in Glory City'' Ye Feng looked at the girls and stood up, ''The churches now!''

As they entered the churches they noticed the weird designs and drawings on the wall and Ye Ziyun said in amazement,

''It looks more of a palace than a church.... Dragon's around the pillars, a throne in the form of a Dragon, a staircase up to reach it even as if the throne stood above everyone''

''Ye Feng, Ning'er? What's wrong?'' Ye Ziyun turned to the two people and noticed Xiao Ning'er was slightly trembling and had a hard time standing while Ye Feng felt a burning pain through his body and turned to Xiao Ning'er.

''Ziyun has no pain or feels uncomfortable, it's only us which means it's only something we possess'' Ye Feng quickly deduced while looking around him and that made the answer pretty obvious, the two girls looked at Ye Feng and he explained,

''Everyone's Soul has a Soul Form, people from Glory City only see Soul Colour since they test on the same Soul Crystal's most of the time and the ones that don't, they don't think it's relevant''

The two girls nodded, they had experienced this aswell!

''That couldn't be further from the truth, when I asked you two to show me your Soul Colour, I was actually looking for your Soul Form'' Ye Feng gritted his teeth and stood in front of Xiao Ning'er which seemed to relieve her of most of the pressure.

''I can bear it!'' Xiao Ning'er said stubbornly and tried to get from behind Ye Feng to not be a burden.

''Preserve your energy, it's coming from that Throne and I doubt this is the only one!'' Ye Feng said while looking at the throne.

Ye Feng's eyes suddenly lost his vision, the world went completely black and turned back into normal again but something changed, there was something on the throne!

''Look at the throne! There is something on it!'' Ye Feng said in confusion, was it an illusion?

The girls were shocked and quickly looked at the throne, however, only Xiao Ning'er saw a translucent crystal laying on top of the throne.

''What are you talking about?'' Ye Ziyun asked in confusion, there was nothing on the throne in her eyes!

''A crystal Ye Feng?'' Xiao Ning'er asked Ye Feng who nodded.

''I know what it is, Ancient Dragon City, Dragon Statues and us feeling this kind of oppression that Ziyun doesn't feel..... Our Soul Forms!'' Ye Feng said and confirmed his guess which made the two girls think about what Ye Feng just said.

The two girls looked at eachother and thought back to the previous conversation and Ye Ziyun couldn't help but ask,

''So you and Ning'er Soul Form are dragons, what is mine?''

''Your Soul Form is part of the Phoenix Species called Ice Phoenix, it is one of the 10 Legendary Soul Forms, as for Ning'er'' Ye Feng said, he quickly looked at Xiao Ning'er and said,

''Your Soul Form is a Winged Dragon, as the name says, it's a Dragon Species which is also an extremely good Soul Form''

Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er looked at eachother in confusion but knew that Ye Feng wasn't talking randomly, especially since he was the one that made their techniques which had multiplied their cultivation speed by at least 5 times!

Ye Feng and Xiao Ning'er looked at eachother and both knew....

That Crystal was precious!
