21 Chapter 21 - Cultivation

Ye Feng looked at Ye Ziyun surprise while Xiao Ning'er didn't say anything but Ye Feng could feel the anticipation coming from her.

''It's fine with me but you better convince your father first, I don't want to die without knowing how'' Ye Feng said with a smile.

Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er smiled and Xiao Ning'er stopped struggling on Ye Feng's shoulder.

As they entered Ye Feng's building, he put Xiao Ning'er down and Ye Feng grabbed them all something to drink before Ye Ziyun spoke up.

''Ye Feng, in 2 weeks there will be an expedition to the Ancient Orchid City Ruins. Should we go?'' Ye Ziyun asked with some expectation, a trip with Ye Feng would definitely be fun, she also loved exploring new things so this was 2 birds with 1 stone for her!

''That is fine, then we should first focus on our Cultivation for the following 2 weeks'' Ye Feng said seriously, he didn't want to risk anything!

The following days were followed by Ye Feng either cultivating, reading Ancient Books or fighting in the Colosseum in the prison.

Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er had moved into Ye Feng's house and after endless nagging from Ye Ziyun to Ye Zong and threatening to not talk to him, he agreed to let her stay in that building but under one condition....

They couldn't sleep in the same room!

Ye Feng knew that Ye Zong could check anytime he wanted to so he took the couch instead until a small renovation had been done and a room been added for himself.

Although the girls had wanted to ignore Ye Zong's words, they knew that Ye Zong was able to check anytime and from anywhere within the City Lord Mansion.

Ye Feng had gone to the Library to search for books about herbs, cultivation, cultivation methods, medical books, sword practice books and all kind of other books, ever since arriving in this world, he had a nearly picture-perfect memory which made everything way easier!

After a week, Ye Feng stretched his body on his chair while he read a book and looked at the map in his hands, the map had all kinds of signs on it.

''It seems we will have something interesting to do first'' Ye Feng grinned and walked into the living room where the two girls were currently eating breakfast.

The girls noticed Ye Feng coming out from his new room and looked at the bags under his eyes and Xiao Ning'er instantly asked with a worried expression,

''You didn't sleep again?''

Seeing the two girls being worried about his well-being made his heart feel warm and a smiled appeared on his tired face.

''How about going on a trip tomorrow?'' Ye Feng grinned and waved the map in front of him.

''What is that? It looks the Ancient Dragon City'' Ye Ziyun said when she looked at the map.

''It is, however, I found out the place where their treasures are up for grabs'' Ye Feng grinned and the two girls looked at him with shining eyes.

The Ancient Dragon City was one of the first City's being explored in the wild after Glory City was founded but only a few treasures were found despite it being even bigger than Ancient Orchid City!

''I heard it got its name from the Dragon Statue in the middle of the City'' Xiao Ning'er said with an excited look, clearly wanting to go there aswell.

''Appearently the Dragon Statue was already there before the City was even build'' Ye Feng said with a weird look, that statue had been regarded as the Ancestor of the City, a kind of God even!

'But why wouldn't they mention WHY it was that way? No matter how many books I read, I didn't see anything about it' Ye Feng mused and looked at the girls.

The girls had already reached the 3-Star Bronze Ranked Demon Spiritualist Rank, Xiao Ning'er had reached 362 Soul Power while Ye Ziyun had reached 353 Soul Power.

Although they had a ridiculous improvement due to their techniques being tailor-made to fit them perfectly, the one with the biggest improvement would with Ye Feng himself!

All the way from a Peak 2-Star Bronze Rank Demon Spiritualist to an early 5-Star Bronze Rank Spiritualist!

He barely slept this week to be sure he was as strong as he could be on the trip to avoid having regrets later, after all, although it was said to be safe in Ancient Dragon City, it was better to be safe than sorry.

Ye Feng's body had reached 583 Physical Power and it seemed that with another day or two of fighting and training, he would reach the Silver Fighter Rank!

''Are you two ready?'' Ye Feng smiled at the two girls who nodded while stretching their bodies.

It was just getting light but Ye Feng didn't want to deal with any annoying pests following him, although he did notify Ye Zong about their trip to at least have a 'bodyguard'.

Ye Feng smiled at the two sleepy girls and they set out to the Ancient Dragon City Ruins.
