Ye Zong was stupefied with what he saw. A 4-year old Black gold rank? How did he hide himself.

"3-star black gold rank at age 4...." Ye Zong was astonished. He wouldn't have believed it if it wasn't something he himself didn't see. He already made sure that he wasn't hallucinating or in illusion.

Thinking for a moment Ye Zong agreed, "Alright. It's between you and me.

I, Ye Zong take vow to keep the secret information between us, a secret unless that information directly harms My wife, my daughter or me or Shen Fei gives me the permission to disclose it.

Will this be okay?"

"Yes! More than enough. It's not that I don't trust you Uncle but my situation in itself is like that."

"I know. I respect your decision. So, let me ask you as your uncle....do you have any ambition?"

"Yes, I do. It's to bring human race at the top of food chain. But for now it's to reduce the casualties of beast horde stampede by 99.99%. 0.01% is not on my hand."

"To reduce casualty of beast stampede by 99%! Is such thing possible?"

"Uncle, first of all it's 99.99%, not 99%. Second yes, it should be since the very proof of 'nothing is impossible' is in front of you."

Ye Zong got more serious on hearing dark guild. He has been having his suspicions lately but asking Shen Fei would be a bit....it was a tough decision but as a City Lord he has his responsibility to fulfill.

Ye Zong had his keen sensation of whom to trust. He felt that this child in front of him is the future of Glory City. That's why there was no point in going around.

"Unfortunately that's true." Shen Fei knew Ye Zong was an honest, upright and more importantly a reasonable man. He would reply honesty with honesty.

"How dare they!! Those criminals!! " Ye Zong slammed the desk. He was very angry. Immediately realising his actions, he apologized, "Sorry."

"No need to apologize Uncle. You shouldn't, it's my father that should."

"What?" Ye Zong was shocked. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Scarlet family Infiltrated? It's probably more like colluded." Shen Fei said with visible anger.

"There's no way that can happen. Shen Hong maybe my rival but even he wouldn't endanger the Glory City." Ye Zong denied.

"I don't have full proof evidence but upper echelon are infiltrated with dark guild under the eyes of a black gold rank master. It's impossible for that to happen unless the patriarch himself is involved. I could understand if the case was of lower positions of servants but in important position such as finance. Even I can tell what's going on."

Ye Zong didn't know what to say. Shen Fei position was tough. He was thinking then suddenly he stood up, a thought came to his mind which he involuntary uttered, "Are they the ones to poison my wife too!?"

"Not only that. It's probably ordered by Shen Hong too." Shen Fei added.

Ye Zong furrowed, "Little Fei, I understand you hate him but pushing these kinds of blame is too much."

Shen Fei closed his eyes and unclosed his 'hypothesis', "Uncle, I know it sounds like I am throwing tantrums but do understand all my accusations are not without reasons. Shen Hong is power hungry or more like authority hungry and if he becomes City Lord, it would benefit the dark guild too if he is in cahoots with them. Moreover, I have heard you two were rivals since young. He maybe jealous of you and thus decided to poison the aunt."

"Shen Fei enough. He is your father."

"Sigh! City Lord, just because he is my father doesn't automatically make him gain my respect. He needs to show his sincerity too. Don't misunderstand me City Lord. I am a 4 year old child, I have yet to experience the world, I have yet to find truths of life, I have little to know about hardships.

Those words were of a child but carried the pressure of an adult. Ye Zong was speechless but at this moment he deeply admired the kid in front of him.

Today has been such an unbelievable day. He couldn't believe what he saw, he couldn't believe what he heard, now couldn't believe what he thought, yet the truth says otherwise. Truly an unbelievable day.
