Chapter 22

She didn't seem to notice that they were already at the company because she was too busy fighting herself internally.But his voice brought her to reality,

"Do you need a royal invitation to get off my car or what"he said with a smirk,she saw that devilish smirk on his face again she couldn't help but wonder if he could only smirk not smile.

She didn't know what's wrong with her but she prayed whatever it was,it should end.She cane down. and went to her department,her colleagues were busy with their own work.She looked around and it seems their leader hasn't come yet.She greeted her colleagues before she went to her seat,she never had a real conversation with her colleagues because were all guys and she didn't even know what to discuss about with them unless it's a work related matter.

She started designing a face when Lincoln came in.He saw what she was designing and praised her.He knew she had a lot of potential and with the right guildlines she will be more than perfect and it was their boss that was tutoring her.Definitely he will be strict and always complaining about the design but his training was make one be perfect in it especially Liam elder brother.He knew all this because he was first tutor by Liam elder brother before Liam took control,he just wanted to perish because the training with them was hell.He felt sorry for her.

Maybe Liam would have left him to tutor her like how he tutor the rest of the members but no one can really know what's going on that mind of his because he can really be unbelievable.

Mia turned around and showed her gratitude to him for his praises with a simple thank you and her killer smile because she knows if she takes it to Liam he must definitely find a complain and she knows maybe his strict nature was also one of the reason,she fell in love with him.He is strict but good at heartif he even have one to begin with.She prays for him,for someone to melt his glacyer heart,for someone to unlock the chains in his heart,for someone to make him smile fully and for him to give love a chance.

When she was done with her design,she wrapped it up so that she would be able to show it to Liam.Lincolm saw her wrapping her design and asked

"where are you going to"she told him sincerely and he back jealous even though he was jealous he knows he wasn't able to stop her anyways

After her shirt discussion with him,she went to Liam.As expected,he found something to complain about but for the first time something flashed in his eyes.

"what was that" her which she wasn't looking at him sternly she would have missed it because it was so fast like light.

Within a second,his face became damn serious again."what was wrong with this man".It was like he has a very strong pain buried deep in his heart and she just wanted to helo him take it off.She walked up to him and did her normal routine she thought will help him at least a little but since it helped him the last time.

He was surprised what his little girlfriend was doing but he was enjoying it.She didn't know how or when she started feeling like this,the urge to ask him something that she couldn't even be so sure of or she didn't even know what it was she wanted to ask him

After a while of doing whatever she did to him,his mood became lighter as if she just helped him forget everything she was thinking about.When suddenly the door opened and someone came in.It was Lucas,what he saw made his eyes wide open.Seeibg Mia standing so close to Liam and was coaxing him was something nobody would believe can happen.

The moment his presence was noticed,Mia quickly got away from Liam and her face blushed red.She didn't expect any idy to open Liam's door without knocking on it but it was Lucas.Liam was totally pissed off because Lucas just interrupted them and thereby spoilt his mood.Lucas could feel the hard stare Liam was throwing at him.If only stare could kill"rest in peace Lucas"

He wasn't able to explain himself when Mia ran to the bathroom to cool herself off,she didn't want to enter her department looking like a cooked lobster leaving Lucas to dwell on his own.

Lucas cursed his luck under his breath but it didn't go unnoticed by Liam.After awhile,the anger dissipated from Liam's face and his mind was now on business formalities,when Lucas saw his demeanor changed he released the breath he didn't know he was holding

They talked until the closing hours.As usual Liam was waiting for Mia in his car.He couldn't she took longer than expected.When he suddenly saw her figure,he also saw a man on her right whose hand were around her neck,the cool aura Liam was exuding went dark again.It was enough to suffocate the man if he wasn't far away,the man wave Mia goodbye when she started approaching the car.Through the distance he could clearly identify the man and it was Lincoln.

The moment Mia sat in the car,Liam sped off.He didn't let her out on her seat belt and it frightened her alot but she didn't want to show him that she was scared.She hastily put on her seat belt and looked towards his direction.His face was damn serious,his jaws were totally clenched,his knuckles were all white because of the force he was using to hold the wheels.

"who could have made him so angry"she thought,that wasn't enough so she wanted to ask him to confirm but she quickly swallowed her words,she didn't want to say anything that was going to evoke the anger even more.
