Chapter 21

When Liam left,she took the time to cool off as well.Not too long,she cane out of the bathroom and got dressed,Liam came inside.His hair was damp as it was still dripping little drops of water,the water made his skin glister it was a sight to behold.He wore a simple t-shirt and black shorts yet he was still good-looking.She couldn't take her eyes off him until she felt a hand on her shoulder,she turned and sweet it was Liam

"what are you staring at or have you changed ....."he suddenly with raised brows. He didn't finish his sentence when she cut him off,

"No,I haven't changed my mind and I'm not going to change my mind till the completion of the two months"she took the words out of his mouth.

"we will see about that"he mumbled to himself with a smirk.

After a while,they went to the side of her room where she has prepared the the game for them to play.,when they were both sitted on the floor he wanted to confirm again thinking maybe she would have changed her mind but this little girl friend if his was something else. He didn't say a word and also didn't have any reaction on his face.

She looked at him and told him the game was about to start.When the game started she was all smiles but meanwhile boredom was written all over his face.

His only thought was first the game to end,even after seeing his face she ignored him and continue playing the game because she was just too engrossed in it.

"Mia,are we not going to stop playing or do you play on playing all night long".When he didn't get any reply,he looked towards her direction and found out she was already asleep. He picked her up gently and carried her to her bed when he muttered something to himself.After a short while,he left her room and only God knows where he went to.

The next day,the sun glittered on her face when she gently opened her eyes so that her eyes will be able to adjust to the light. When she was fully awake the incident of yesterday flashed through her mind.She still couldn't believe he actually agreed to play a game with her,it was all still unbelievable,shocking and amazing because she always dreamt of playing a game with the man she loved even though she is fully aware he doesn't love her,he was doing all this because of the contract they signed at least she loved him that counts.

A smile appeared on her face thinking about all this,the smile was still on her face when she went to the bathroom and it was still there even when she left her room and started walking downstairs.The moment she saw Liam the smile on her face became wider than usual.She greeted him but got only the wave of his hand as a respond when the smile started fading away.

"how rude of him at least he would have responded with his mouth than hands"she thought.On approaching him,she saw two.familar figures with two unfamiliar figures

"I thought he said they will be gone for awhile".She wondered were all these people always go to and coming from.

She was busy with her thoughts when she heard a familiar voice through her conciousness,

"Mia,go to the dinner table when I'm done with the business over here,I will join you later"it was Liam of course and Gus voice was very cold at that moment.She when to tell dinning table obediently because she didn't want to disturb him right now especially now that he's busy.On her way to the dining table,they all started discussing again and the more they discuss she could see Liam's face getting darker as if he wasn't please if what he's hearing.

The discussion was longer beyond her imagination,she has even finish her meal and there was no sign of the going to end their discussion. After a while,the meeting finally came to an end with Liam ending towards the dining table.His darkened aura and slightly clenched jaw became normal again as if they were not there to begin with.

He didn't eat much.Since she started staying with him,she noticed he eats only little or nothing.After the dinner they both left for work.

On their way,she wanted to ask him what his meeting was all about so badly but didn't want to offend him because she knows if it's something she should know about he would have already told her but curiosity was actually eating her up that she was fighting with her heart and mind internally
