Longing

"Luffy! Luffy! Love where are you!?" Law shouted at top of his lungs.

There was no response and the fire is continuously spreading.

"Luffy! Where are you? Please answer me, Love?!" He tried again, but still no answer.

"Law, where's Lu?" Ace asked when they catch up to him.

Law shook his head, "I can't find her," Law said frustrated clutching his hair.

Sabo tried to call her phone, and they heard it ringing nearby, they ran towards the sound and froze at what they saw.

T here is so much blood. in the middle of the pool of blood, they saw Luffy's cell phone, but Luffy wasn't there.

"Shit! Is this all, Lu's blood?" Ace cursed looking with wide eyes at the pool of blood.

" Damn it! we have to leave! the building will collapse, Lu is not here " Sabo hissed.

"Oi Law! Let's go" Ace yelled and started pulling Law.

After getting out of the collapsing building the three looked around trying to find Luffy when they saw one of her close colleagues,

"Nami!" Sabo yelled approaching the girl with orange hair.

"Eh? Ah! you are Luffy's brother!" The girl said.

"Yeah, Uh have you seen Luffy?" Sabo asked.

"No, I didn't see her, everyone started to panic so I also started to run when I heard the explosion."

After that, they tried to check the nearby hospitals and other large hospitals to see if Luffy had been admitted to any of them.

"She's not here either, damn it!" Law said, frustrated, worried about Luffy.

They've been searching for her but they can't find her anywhere and It's starting to drive him crazy.

"Shit! Where are you, Lu... I want to see you," He muttered in low voice, covering his face.

The news about the explosion in the Facility was all over the news.

Everyone close to Luffy was helping Law, Ace, and Sabo.

It's been 3 days since she disappeared but there's still no news about her.

Then days became weeks, then months, now it's been 3 months but there's still no news from her.

"Law, you have to take care of yourself, Luffy won't be happy seeing you like this," Sabo said looking at Law.

"You can't blame him, Sabo. Every one of us is the same. It's been 3 months already and we can't still find her, damn it!" Ace hissed.

When she opened her eyes, she was curled up in a round sleeping capsule machine, a monitor was gently beeping.

The door of the capsule slowly opened.

Scanning her surrounding, the room is elegantly and beautifully decorated.

A figure was slumped in the chair near the window, she blinked a few times at the bright light.

As she tried to move a stabbing pain shot through her head and she gasped in pain.

The young man in the corner suddenly woke up and looked at her.

"You are awake, Luf," He said smiling.

"K-Katakuri?" She whispered in a puzzled voice when the man approached her.

"Yes Luf," He gently caresses her face affectionately.

She noticed the dark circles under his eyes indicating that he hasn't been sleeping.

"W-what happened?" She asks.

He handed her a glass of water before speaking.

"You've been caught in an explosion, you were severely hurt, you were sent flying and hit your head. also, a large piece of glass pierced your side, you were almost dying when we found you.

"H-how long....?" She asks in a strained voice.

"You've been sleeping for 3 months," He said looking at her.

"I see," She said looking around. "Where are we?"

"We are at Komugi Island, One of Mama's territories, but now that you are awake, we can go back to Whole Cake City in 3 days, " Katakuri said.

"I see," Luffy said massaging her temple.

"Does your head hurt?" He asks worriedly.

"Uh-huh, I'm fine, It's just my memory is a little confusing. anyway, I'm hungry," She said looking at him.

"Oh, I'll tell Sanji to prepare food," He said and started dialing on his phone.

"Sanji, Luf's awake, prepare food for her," He said then hang up the call.

"I want to eat outside," She said looking towards the window as she tried to stand up.

When she tried to walk, her legs suddenly gave out, Katakuri was able to able to catch her before she hit the floor.

"Be careful Luf, you just woke up after 3 months," he cradled her.

"Sorry," She muttered.

Katakuri gently scooped her up in his arms and started to walk toward the door.

Walking down the corridor, they bump into Nico Robin, Katakuri's assistant.

"Mr.Katakuri, Ms. Luffy, Good morning," She greeted smiling.

"Good morning Robin, do you need something?" He asks.

Luffy , still in Katakuri's arms, nods to Robin as a greeting.

"Ah yes, Madam Linlin was asking when will you go back to the city," Robin said.

"Tell her Luffy is already awake so we will go back in 3 days," He said and continued to walk towards the garden.

"The experiment is successful, Katakuri calls earlier, Luffy's awake and the memory alteration works, She also heals quickly from any wound and regeneration is also perfect."

"That's good! That's good! Big Mom will be happy, fufufu" The figure said laughing loudly.

Ace and Sabo are currently at Whitebeard's Restaurant with the others.

"Is there any update yoi?" Marco asks.

Ace shook his head, "No, nothing at all, damn! just where the hell is she," He said in a defeated voice.

"How's Law?" Thatch suddenly asks.

" He's on the edge, he doesn't eat or sleep at all, Lu's disappearance is driving him crazy, we can't even talk to him properly, " Sabo said shaking his head.

" I'm not surprised yoi, I mean she's everything to him, Luffy is his world," Marco said. " I mean all of us yoi, but it affects Law the most,"

Arriving at their condominium, Law opened the door and enter the empty place.

'Hey, Love! Welcome home!' He remembered that Luffy always greeted him when she arrived home first. How she smiled and how she always threw herself at him as he walked through the door.

'Love! Hellooooooo? Shishishi' Luffy appeared in front of him, he smiled at her playfulness.

Luffy rushed to their kitchen, and then he followed her, only to find the kitchen pitch-black and empty.

"Shit," He said through gritted teeth, leaning on the wall covering his face.

"I missed you so much Luffy," he said sitting dazed on the floor with tears running down his cheeks.

3 DAYS LATER

Law shot awake; turning on the bedside lamp, the annoying sound of his cell phone dragged Law from his slumber with a loud curse.

Reaching out, he answered it without checking who the caller was.

"Hello?"

"Law, don't forget that we have to pick up Shanks at the airport before 12 o'clock," Sabo said in the line.

Looking at his watch he notices that it's almost ten in the morning.

Sighing, he waits no time and gets up.

"I'll just take a bath and go there," He said.

"Alright," Sabo said before ending the call.

Throwing his clothes in the pile of dirty clothes on the corner of their bathroom as soon as he walk-in he turned on the shower.

Luffy together with a green-haired young man was on the plane back to the city from Komugi Island, Katakuri and others had to return immediately due to work and thus returned 2 days earlier.

"We've arrived, Miss," The green-haired young man said.

Closing the book she's been reading she lifts her head to look at the young man,

"Hmm, thanks Zoro," She said standing up and walking towards the exit.

Zoro picks up their luggage and follows her.

L aw was waiting at the airport with Sabo and Ace, He started tapping his shoes on the floor due to boredom.

Looking around with lazy eyes he was getting impatient.

"Yes, we've arrived, I know, I know, you worry too much,"

He suddenly stiffened at the familiar voice he had longed to hear.

He turned, frantically searching for the source of his longing, then his eyes landed on her.

Ace and Sabo notice him and ask him what was wrong with him but got no response so they followed where he was looking.

They blinked twice and froze. There, stands the girl they'd been looking for, she was on the phone, next to her is the young man with green hair, looking around.

"O-oi is that...?" Ace said stuttering.

"L-Luffy?" Sabo whispered in a trembling voice.

"No, it's fine, we can just take a cab,"

They heard her say as she held out the book in her hand to the young man next to her.

"So? ... Fine, we'll just wait here" She somewhat said massaging her temple then hang up.

"Miss, should we wait at the cafe outside?"

"Ah no, they will-"

She was interrupted when Law suddenly appeared in front of her and held her wrist, staring intently at her.

"Luffy," He said in a hopeful voice.

"Oi, What the hell do you think you're doing? Let her go," The green-haired young man hissed.

Ace and Sabo appeared next to Law.

"Lu," They said in a low strained voice.

"Miss, Do you know them?" The green-haired young man asks.

They stiffened when they saw Luffy shaking her head.

"No," she said then turned to Law.

"Can you let go? you are hurting me," She said looking at Law.

Law looked at his hand and loosen his hold a little but didn't let go.

"Luffy, It's me Law, don't you remember me?" He asked with a pleading voice while looking into her eyes. it was then that he noticed that her eyes have a different color, the right is like what he remembered, a deep black-colored eye, while the left is a golden jeweled eye.

Looking back at Law, Luffy winced when her head suddenly started pounding. The pain was almost unbearable.

"Oi! I said let go!" The green-haired young man yelled and grabbed Law's wrist forcefully for him to let go.

"Z-Zoro," Luffy said in a low weak voice.

Zoro looked at her worriedly as he saw her standing slightly unsteady, clutching her head. He immediately leaned over to support her before her leg gave out.

"Lu..!" Law yelled worriedly. He tried to approach Luffy but Zoro glared at him.

"O-oi is Lu alright?" they ask concerned.

Zoro pulled out his cell phone from his coat and started calling someone.

"Stop calling Marimo, I'm already here,"

A blonde suddenly speaks behind them, while looking at Law, Ace, and Sabo frowning."Who's this?" Looking around, he noticed that Luffy was leaning against Zoro and clutching his coat. eyes closed.

"Oi, what's wrong with miss Luf?" He asks somewhat worried.

Zoro shook his head, "Get the luggage," He said as he scooped up Luffy in his arms, he gently adjusted Luffy's head and placed it in the crook of his neck, so that she was more comfortable. Then he started to walk towards the exit.

"Wait! Where are you taking our sister?" Ace suddenly yelled.

"Shut up! didn't you hear? She doesn't know any of you." Zoro hissed still walking towards the exit.

"Wait! you can't take her! Luffy! Luffy!" Law panicked and tried to follow them but was stopped by the blonde.

"Sorry, but I can't let you follow them, Miss Luf just woke up 3 days ago and she needs some rest." He said glaring at them before he left to follow the two.

Law still tried to follow them but was stopped by Sabo.

"Law," Sabo held his wrist and shake his head.

"But Sabo! It's Lu!" Ace hissed.

"I know, I know okay, But she doesn't remember us," He said looking in the direction where his sister disappeared into the crowd.

At that moment suddenly someone speaks behind them.

"Oi, what's up with the face? You guys look like someone just died."
