Chapter79 He Came Back

Adeline felt so bored as she couldn't do anything in the ward.

So she finally convinced Lea to let her be discharged. 

At home, Lea prepared a lot of food for her, so much that they couldn't finish them at all.

At night, Adeline lied on bed but she couldn't fall asleep. Before she had never felt the bed was so big.

She took out her cell phone and looked at Edmund's number for a while. Then she turned it off. 

Maybe he was really busy these days, and she shouldn't disturb him.

Thinking that she still had to work the next day, Adeline forced herself to fall asleep by closing her eyes tightly.

When she was in a daze, someone hugged her from behind.

The familiar scent made her heart skip a beat. 

His chin rested on her shoulder, and she could feel his stubble. Her heart ached for him for some reason. Then she turned around and held his face.

She whispered, "What's going on?"

The next second, he kissed her.
