Chapter78 Bring Her Back

"Edmund? Is that you?" Kevin once again checked the name on screen.

"Why did you pick up her call? Where's Adeline?" Edmund asked.

"Mr. Dawn, please mind your language! Adeline had a fever and she almost fell from a building. Now she's in the hospital. Where have you been?"

Fortunately, he grabbed her arm in time. Otherwise, she would have died like that man.

"What did you say? How's she now?" Edmund's heart skipped a beat. 

"She hasn't dead yet!" Kevin screamed.

Adeline entered the ward and saw Kevin talking on her phone.

"Who is that?" She asked.

"Edmund!" He directly passed the phone to her.

"Hello!" Adeline cleared her throat before she answered, "Edmund. I was just having a cold and feel much better now. I'll be discharged from the hospital tomorrow morning. Don't worry."

"I'm sorry that I missed your birthday. Something urgent came up." Edmund frowned. 

So he still remembered that.
