Chapter 19. Lusty

Ash continued looking at the map and saw that most of the forces were moving to the inner area of the realm. He was a few days away from the inner area but decided to take his time where he was. His position was far enough from the bigger forces and close enough to some potential areas of interest.

The first point of concern Ash had was that the boys the watchling killed, were due to report in a couple of days. There may be a search party heading this way because that kid Kraven had more than enough people to spare.

The bigger forces seemed to be getting a full grasp on where everything is before locking down an area as theirs. The mountainous region seemingly belongs to a group of Buddhist from the Orchid temple and a group of cultivators called the Freedom guild. These two groups controlled a big portion of the mountainous region and it would be hard to gain opportunities from these groups.

On the map, the boy had marked how many days had passed and he was surprised it had already been a week. With three weeks left he could most definitely make progress before returning back to his home. However, his optimism was dashed by his second concern.

A particular nearby monster that the two deceased boys had marked down, the beast was close to a beneficial location he wanted to visit. It was considered one of the most dangerous monsters in the valley, a Demonic Goat. It was located towards the end of the valley leading to the forest.

A medium sized humanoid goat, Ash didn't have a whole lot more info on this being other than that. All he knew was, it would be a tough opponent.

Ash couldn't help but think about how the deceased boys had unfortunately gone out of their way to make a detour. Ironically they still met their end by a beast trying to avoid one. The Demonic Goat was just too powerful for them to come close to beating.

Ash decided to make this beast his goal in the next couple of weeks. Maybe the goal was too high, but Ash wanted to set his sights high in order to put pressure on the two of them.

It was an e tier beast in adulthood that would net him valuable experience. He may not be able to beat it but the experience of fighting such a beast would hone his skill. Ash had Grim keep an eye out as he decided to get some sleep. An hour into his nap he felt a tug on the link and immediately woke up.

Outside of the temporary campsite were two weird looking goats. They had eyes filled with lust, longer that average tongues, and soft looking fur. These were lusty goats, and they did not seem to be too friendly.
