Chapter 13

Rapahels POV

Earlier today, Emily came and gave me an information of the ritual, from how she was there, I concluded that she wasn't a normal human and I was right. We saved Austin before his imminent doom and when he used his powers, I was happy and proud of him. At least he was quite stable in this lifetime. I intend asking him for a relationship but I have to give him time, even though I don't think I can wait. When Emily suggested we go on a break from school, I thought it was perfect to ask him to be my boyfriend but from his behavior alone, I noticed he didn't trust me fully, he also avoided Emily so it meant he didn't like how we lied to him about ourselves. I also noticed something crucial, his emotions changed the color of his eyes and I was quite suprised when I discovered it. I fear soon he'll surpass me in strength and I'll be useless to him in the coming battle.

Emily's POV

I wasn't talking much because I was quote suprised, I was literally sitting with the god of creation well partial god of creation, now I knew why the old man was afraid, it turns out his fear wasn't baseless, I never intended to carry out his wishes against Austin anyway and now he won't be able to do so once Austin is stronger. We were exhausted and definitely couldn't go to school so I proposed a day off from school today and we all happily obliged. I noticed that Austin was a bit... Edgy around us and I understood why, it would take quite some time but I decided to explain why I didn't tell him the truth anyway. "Austin please I'm your friend, try to understand, just imagine this scenario, I walk up to you and tell you I'm an elf and your the god of creation, what would you think?". He kept silent for a while before smiling and saying "I would think you were crazy". "Exactly and that's why I didn't tell you the truth also, it would be weird if I told you I was an elf, you might think of me as some type of freak or creep so please just trust us ok?". I said and looked in his eyes, he seemed to consider what I said then he smiled and nodded his head. Now I hadn't really noticed Austin's eye color but now, it changed from a pitch black color to a vibrant brown color and I was suprised and happy because it also meant that he finally trusted us again. We went to hang out today, we had ice cream and while on the way to the amusement park, my phone rang and when I saw it was my dad calling, I remember I just left in a hurry last night so I told them I needed to head home but then Austin brought up the question of his parents but then Raphael said he hypnotized them to think that Austin was in school and when austin asked why, he said "remember after uhm.... Jasper and I fought, I made you dizzy, I inteneded to make you forget but somehow it didn't work which was a first but I'm the one who took you home and I had to hypnotize your parents into think there was some event which required us to spend all night at school because I didn't know how long you would be unconscious". Well that was.... Thoughtful, I left them and walked home.

Austin's POV

It was just Raphael and I, he had apologized again about lying to me about his identity and I assured him that I understood and that it was alright. We had cotton candy, we played this game where you shoot water from a water pistol into a hole and win a prize, I didn't know how to play so Raphael held my arms from behind and he guided my hands to point at the hole and make the shot, it was almost as though he were hugging me from behind and that made me feel awkward, I blushed and felt shy, due to this I missed the shot and he laughed. I asked if he could read my mind and he said only vague emotions but not my thoughts, this explained quite a lot. I told him I wanted to ride the roller coaster and so we went there and got on, we sat close to each other and then he kept his hand on my laps and again I felt tense but thankfully the ride started before he could see my face.
