Chapter 12

Emily's POV

I felt the same energy in the air, it was do powerful, I ran into the gate to see an amazing sight, the moon and sun came together forming an eclipse with the stars firming a pentagram, I've nevee seen something so beautiful, I saw Austin in the middle and I instantly knew what he was doing, this was a soul fussion spell and it seemed to be almost complete but I can't let this happen, if it does, Austin won't be himself anymore, I saw Raphael there and although I don't know what he's doing there, I go to him and ask him for help. "Hey raph, what's going on, how are you here and why are you even here? ". "I'll explain later, right now we need to protect Austin till he completea the fission". "So you know about this?, well we can't let him complete it". "Why?". "I don't know who told you of this but that person failed to tell you that if Austin completely fuses with the soul of the god of creation and light, he will either lose himself and become the creator himself or he'll destroy himself completely and seeing as he isn't strong enough, the latter might happen instead". I told him and he widened his eyes which meant he believed me and was suprised at this knowledge. "Quick let's get him out now". He said and we both ran and dragged Austin out of the circle.

Austin's POV

I woke up to see Raphael and Emily in the woods with me, they were both up and they weren't talking, wait, why was Emily here? "Hey Austin, how are you feeling? ". "I'm fine but what are you doing here? ". "Well this is hard to explain but, but... ". "She's an elf, a nature elf to be exact" Raphael cut in and Emily gave me an awkward smile. I was actually suprised, I thought elves had pointy ears but Emily looked exactly like a human. "Wait, did you know about me? " "yes, I did bu... ". "And is that why you wanted to be my friend? " I interrupted her. "No, I admit I was sent by my... Father to be your friend so I could monitor you and ensure you weren't going to be a threat but I actually liked you as a friend". I could see the truth in her eyes and so I let it be. "So what now? Why was the ritual interrupted? "

"Emily told me that if the ritual was completed, two bad thing would happen, you either become the creator or you destroy yourself and cease to exist forever". Raphael said and I was shocked. "As for what's next, we need to test your powers and you need to learn how to use them in battle". "Well then, how do we start". "Yeah that's going to be a problem, no mortal knows how to use a gods power" Raphael said then Emily replied "it shouldn't be as different as how we use our powers, although we aren't gods, we did come from them". "Ok, how do you use your powers? ". "Well, first of all, I focus on what I want to do, if I want water to move, I imagine the water moving where and how I want it to move". "Well,I'm a vampire so I don't really do magic, I just have powers like super speed, strength,sight, smell and a few basic skills and unlike popular myths we don't burn in the sun and we don't turn crazy without blood, but we do need it from time to time, animal blood works just fine but human blood is nicer,we can eat food and the blood of our soul mates call out to us, once mated, we have a kind of connection". He said the last words while looking at me and I just ignored it. "Alright, thanks for the information but you still owe me an explanation, who's jaaper? ". "Jasper is a subordinate of the god of death, like I said he too was reincarnated except somehow, he had his memories of his time as a god, I guess he completed the ritual but didn't get his full powers as a side effect". "So what do we do about jasper now he knows about me?". "Well, that depends, let's forget about all this now, he doesn't know you've awakened your powers so just pretend and be cool with him so he doesn't become suspicious". "For now let's focus on your powers". "Try to do something, anything". "Like what?". "Try making a flower grow or something" Emily said for the first time in a while. I listened to her, since I made the eclipse, I've come to believe that I really am a reincarnation of the creator albeit not as powerful as he was. I closed my eyes and imagined where we were, I imagined a flower, growing out of the ground, I thought to myself 'I'm the god of creation so I should be able to make my own creation' and with that in mind, I imagined the petals of the flower to have green, blue, yellow and red colors. I opened my eyes and to my surprise, I saw that I had actually created the flower and I felt proud. Emily jumped happily and Raphael said "congratulations, you did it and you created a new flower on your first try ". "Well it wasn't that hard". "That might be because its just a flower, the more complex what you want to do is, the more difficult it will be, for now let's celebrate this victory with a day off from school". Emily said smiling and we agreed with her.
