Alex flew back, almost falling onto the ground. However, he managed to keep his balance at the last moment.
"I told you. You're not getting there, so don't make me hurt you."
Alex just looked up. He didn't care about what she said anymore. He wanted to try and kill that dragon. He wanted to see just how powerful such a beast was.
He took one step after another slowly walking toward Ariel, who did create another wave of wind thinking that it would work once again. However, such a trick wouldn't work twice on Alex. He had too much experience to fall for such lowly tricks.
He made quick work of it as he slashed through it, causing the wind to split in two. It only grazed him as he kept walking forward. Alex was dead set on getting through this. Ariel, honestly, had no idea why he was trying so hard to go there. Couldn't he wait? Did he really need to fight it while he was so weak?
