The Underworld
Even the grassland domain that seemed never-ending came to an end. Xiaoling and Zisheng finally reached the Underworld, and it was nothing like Xiaoling had imagined. They just ended up in the woods from the grasslands, and Zisheng confirmed it was the Underworld.
"A bunch of trees…" Xiaoling murmured as she continued to walk behind Zisheng despite her disbelief and disappointment at the sight.
Zisheng chuckled at her complaining tone, "You should be glad we ended up in a tamer place than most. The Underworld is just like the other two realms. You will find all sorts of landscapes here." He explained briefly before stopping to look back at her, "We are headed to the Capital city, of course. That's where the Underworld King's Palace is."
Xiaoling was awed, "Have you ever been to the Capital?"
"Once," Zisheng immediately replied, "It's dangerous. Devil kings and noblemen don't like outsiders."
