Xiaoling and Zisheng continued their venture through the grassland domain. It seemed like a never-ending journey. They rested a lot on the way and talked less. Xiaoling could guess it was because Zisheng had a lot of questions regarding Weisheng, but he didn't ask out of politeness.
She wondered if keeping Zisheng in the dark was right or not. The previous God of War was after her, but even this fact remained hidden from Zisheng. After much contemplation, Xiaoling decided to tell him when they stopped to rest beside a boulder.
"Zisheng, I have something to tell you," She murmured as she watched him start a fire.
The domain seemed to stay in the daytime, but the weather changed significantly. It had gotten freezing even in a grassland region. Zisheng looked up upon being called, smiling gently, and nodded as he slipped a rock under himself to sit on, letting Xiaoling have the log to herself.
