Awaken

It has now been over a week since Jane has been privy to Tim's remarkable capabilities. Since the altercation between Tim and the bullies, there has not been a single instance of bullying within the school grounds. Dylan, however, reported Tim and Andrew to the principal, only to be dismissed and mocked by the administrative staff. As a result, he distanced himself from the duo. Nevertheless, Tim and Andrew, who have become the best of friends, engage in routine training sessions by a nearby creek after school. It is during these sessions that Tim's special abilities began to manifest themselves. Among these abilities are the sudden appearance of swords from both of his hands when he clenches his fists tightly, the ability to see great distances at night, x-ray vision, super hearing, super strength, and finally, super jump. As time passed, Tim grew increasingly accustomed to his abilities and gained better control over them. He believed them to be a divine gift bestowed upon him at birth.

Meanwhile, in a clandestine laboratory located over twenty-one feet underground, Dr. Sylvester had been working on his project, codenamed "T.I.M." which comprised all the documents and blueprints related to Tim's abilities. However, the documents had undergone some alterations, much to Dr. Sylvester's surprise. During his inspection, Barron, an agent belonging to a secretive control agency, made an appearance in the lab and inquired whether the project was ready. Dr. Sylvester, looking disheveled, elderly, and frail, then proceeded to unveil a tube, similar to the one Tim was seen in earlier but far more advanced, and introduced the agent to his newest creation, Project Virus. Barron grinned as a striking young man with red eyeballs emerged from the tube, appearing serious yet handsome. Barron then instructed Dr. Sylvester to test the young man's combat prowess before it could be dispatched to complete its mission.

In the late hours of the night, in a bar, a woman adorned with an owl mask and wielding an axe made her entrance. The security attempted to restrain her, but she made short work of them, cutting them down mercilessly. Once she made her way to the VIP section of the bar, her eyes fell upon a man with a scorpion tattoo on his forehead. Addressing him as Death Scorpious, she warned him that he would suffer greatly if he tried to resist his fate, reminding him that he had betrayed his legion. He merely chuckled and admitted that he had come to appreciate her way of life, but insisted that he did not require gold or animal masks to kill. Death Scorpious then revealed in a threatening way that she had led the Legion of the Scorpion and informed her that she had a daughter, adding that she was likely 15 years old by his estimation. Grey Owl, unfazed by his words, retorted that she was not there to engage in idle chatter. Death Scorpious then challenged her to a combat, but Grey Owl responded by severing his hand and decapitating him, stating that she did not do challenges with her victims. She then proceeded to dispatch everyone who attempted to impede her as she departed. A message from an anonymous source, containing a picture of Tim Sylvester and gold, arrived shortly after, causing Grey Owl to disappear into the night.

Two weeks later, Tim had made considerable progress in mastering his abilities, thanks in part to Andrew's guidance. After school, they received an invitation from Jennifer to attend a party at her mansion. Both Tim and Andrew harbored feelings for her and agreed to sneak out and attend the party later that night, much to Andrew's chagrin. The party was in full swing when they arrived at 9:15 pm, and they had a great time. Tim,wanting to express his feelings to Jennifer, saw Andrew kissing her on his way to her. Despite the heartbreak, the party wrapped up at 11:14 pm, and on their way home, they faced armed robbers.

The first robber, speaking loudly, demanded, "Give us your money, phones, and anything valuable, or you won't see daylight." Andrew, scared, pleaded, "We're young; please don't do this." In contrast, Tim, angered, firmly said, "No." Concerned, Andrew warned, "Tim, you could get us killed." The robber replied, "I'm not afraid to take you out; shoot them all, and let's go."

Without hesitation, Tim jumped, grabbed the gun, and broke it.Tim swiftly disarmed and incapacitated their assailants with ruthless efficiency. Andrew, seized with alarm at the prospect of police intervention, urged Tim to depart expeditiously. As they made their way back to their respective abodes, Tim was plagued by a haunting vision of his father and suffered from auditory hallucinations, which sapped his strength and ultimately induced unconsciousness. Meanwhile, Virus was unleashed from his training facility, tasked with the elimination of all members of the legion. He ascended into the skies at breakneck speed, his velocity rivaling that of a projectile.
