A New Addition?

They all heaved a sigh of relief but the woman that had tried to set them up moments ago followed them, banging on the door as she pleaded for them to let her in.

The sisters kept quiet because they knew this lady tried to set her up but they couldn't blame her.

It was everyone for themselves right now and they had to put each other first but if she kept banging the way she did, it might attract nearby zombies.

The glass doors were hard and couldn't be broken easily but it could be broken.

Jason knew he had to act and walked towards the transparent glass door, he looked at the girl and she immediately stopped hitting it and pleaded with Jason.

She begged and begged, this sight didn't move Jason because this lady had no problem putting herself first but he understood that she might not have had any other choices.

Jason looked at Rachel and she was shaking her head in protest because she knew what he wanted to do.

"Everyone deserves a second chance," Jason muttered and he could see a smile creep up on Lillain's face briefly before it disappeared just as quickly.

Jason walked to the door and slid it open, it was hard to do because the electricity had been cut off but there was a manual feature that he used to open it.

The moment the lady entered, she hugged Jason, showing her gratitude.

Jason felt her soft breasts pressing against his chest and he wondered how she could smuggle something so soft inside her clothes.

She had a muscular frame so he expected everything on her to be hard but he could see little to nothing under her short-sleeved shirt that was loose as well.

She was approximately 5' 6 with black eyes and hair with a sharp jawline. She had an average-looking face but that was to be expected as the world had gone to shit. People's appearance was the last thing that took priority; before Jason could fully melt into the experience.

Rachel stood up with a hammer in hand and the lady, sensing the impending danger, removed her arms from Jason.

"What are you doing?" Jason asked Rachel in a panicked voice, he didn't have any control of the current situation.

"Move aside, we cannot let her stay here," Rachel said bluntly but Lillian once again opposed her older sister.

"Rachel, stop…" Lillian said and the moment she did, Rachel lowered her hammer.

Jason realized that Lillian was the only person she listened to.

"I didn't mean to do it! I had no choice! I'm sure you too will do anything to survive!" The lady protested and Jason could see the irony because that was how they met but he also understood her worry.

"Just stay out of my sight and we will be good!" Rachel barked and this was a condition that the lady accepted without hesitation because it beats walking around.

The fact that whatever was happening affected animals as well made the situation ten times worse as birds would not be exempted from this and other animals that roam the earth.

The lady gave Jason a nod before heading to the opposite side of the store but not before taking some snacks that were left behind to feast on.

They didn't know what they were waiting for but they knew that they couldn't be out in the open now until they had a solid plan.

Jason followed her because he needed to keep an eye on her as he was the one that let her in so it was his responsibility.

Jason's eyes focused on her as she sat on the floor and Jason sat some short distance away from her.

"What is your name?" The lady asked and this surprised Jason, this was the first time anyone was asking him about his name since the apocalypse began.

"I'm Jason…" Jason responded awkwardly and the lady smiled when she heard this.

"I'm Anabella but you can call me Bella," Bella responded and Jason nodded.

An awkward silence followed up, Bella wanted to explore the store because they hadn't even swept it for any potential threats.

"We should sweep the area, don't you think Jason?" Bella asked and Jason nodded in agreement with her.

Bella got up on her feet and Jason followed suit, he knew he had to be on guard because this woman was built like a tank. There was no doubt that her punch would pack enough power to knock him the fuck out if it connected properly.

Jason followed after her as they entered a compartment of the store, this would otherwise be the storage room.

It was pitch black and there was no power but luckily, Jason had his phone to come to the rescue. He opted to use the torch feature and this lit up his path.

Bella stood and looked at Jason, men usually go in first but Jason wasn't having any of that macho shit because he only had one life.

And Bella was built more like a man than he was but he only knew she was muscular because of her arms.

Bella kissed her teeth as she entered first with Jason trailing behind her despite having the light they needed but there was nothing that was in sight.

Jason knew that he looked like a threat and if they were going to target anyone first, it would be him hence why he was cautious. It wasn't because he was scared that he let her go in first, it was simply because he didn't trust her.

There was nothing and Jason wondered if they had a backup generator, stores usually did in the event of a power outage.

"It's so freaking dark in here!" Bella muttered but Jason had eyes, she was stating what he already knew. He placed his phone on a tall metal construct so it could illuminate the room.

They found water, and the look of excitement on their faces told them all they needed to know.

Bella didn't realize when she carried a large jug of water and poured the water on herself.

But Jason noticed something, she wasn't wearing any bra and the water made everything beneath her shirt transparent.

"Well, damn…" Jason thought to himself as he realized her chest was a lot bigger than he thought.
