Let’s See…

Haru and Lucifer sat on the couch and rested while Rin was still trying to get familiar with her new eyesight.Katsumi was still sleeping wrapped on Haru's wrist.

While they were resting and chatting among themselves a knocking sound heard echoed in the house.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Huh? Why would someone knock on the door in the apocalypse?"Rin said and went to open the door but Haru stopped her.

"Rin pick your knife and gun go backside and pull the table down in order to take cover.Slightly peek at the door when i opened it but don't let your head seen too much.Do not shoot untill i give you a signal.Get ready fast."Haru ordered and he summoned Akriel and equipped his dagger.

In 3 seconds Rin did everything Haru told her and took cover behind the table.Haru opened the door fastly and pulled the guy inside by his collar then he tackled the guy and dropped him to the floor.He hurriedly mounted him and putted his dagger on the neck of the guy.

"Wait! I am a member of Reporters.Master Collector told me to check on you.Please spare me!"Unlucky guy pleaded for his life and spoke fastly informing Haru about the situation.

"Go away i'll be coming tomorrow to your base.Tell Collector to wait me there."Haru said and threw the guy outside not letting him see the interior of their house.Rin came next to Haru and asked him the reason why he acted like that.

"If we let him see our house then it can be a disadvantage for us in the future.If we act carelessly then someone can kill us.We can't trust anybody Rin don't forget that."Haru said and unsummoned Akriel.

Lucifer was watching all the events without talking.She wanted to see the way her master thinks and Haru passed the test.She was proud to be a summon of Haru and happy to be one of his friends.

Lucifer told Haru to get some sleep and wake early tomorrow.He nodded his head and went to his room.Haru immediately fall asleep.Lucifer crawled next to him and hugged his body.

Rin went to her room too while promising herself to be more careful in the future.

After a night of sleeping Rin woke up and went to prepare something to eat.She decided to clean and check if there is something wrong with her weapons.After a hour later Lucifer woke up with a yawn and went to the kitchen.

Everyone was ready except Haru because he couldn't sleep last night.Everytime he level up or gain more strength his body becomes more non-human.It was same for Rin as well but she haven't leveled up after level 10 because of the last events.

She was going to take her trial today before going to Reporters Base.While Haru was at the bathroom she decided to treasure her time and take the class trial but before that Rin opened her status.

"Use 6 points on agility and 2 on strength."Rin said and prepared for the trials.She left a note for Haru informing him about her whereabouts.Then a white portal appeared and sucked her inside.Rin didn't resist it and waited.

A weird feeling covered her body and disappeared.Rin opened her eyes and saw that the scenery was changed.She was now in the middle of a jungle with ruined houses here and there.She turned her head to left and saw a man in all black.

"Welcome to class trials.Your objective here is surviving the hordes of monster for 20 minutes.With each monster you killed you will gain points and your chances of getting a better class will be higher.You can use your points in the shop section after the trial is over.Good luck!"Man in black said and vanished from Rin's eyesight.After that a countdown started.

Six purple portals materialised on air and monsters came out of them.In ten seconds Rin was cornered with all kinds of monsters but she has an ace upon her sleeve.

"ZAP!!"Rin shouted and hundreds of huge thunder bolts appeared on her both palm.She pressed all of the thunder bolts and compressed them into two bullets made of pure lightning.The procces was happened in nearly three seconds which is really fast for a beginner mage.

She haven't tried this technique on someone but it was the perfect moment.There was only one problem which is her guns can't endure the impact and will be destroyed after shooting the bullets.Rin decided to use lightning bullets when she was cornered more.

For now she loaded her guns with normal bullets and started to shoot everything on her way.Gunshots echoed in the forest nonstop and screams of pain accompanied the gunshots.

*BANG* *BANG*

After ten minutes of fighting with endless monsters Rin was exhausted also her ammo was running low so she decided to use lightning bullets.Quickly Rin made a plan in her mind and lured all of the monsters into a open area.

She runned while countless monsters chasing her for two minutes then she found a open area which is perfect for the skill she is going to use.Rin steadied her breath and loaded her guns with the lightning bullets.

*ROAR* *GRUN*

Ground shaked and endless wave of monsters rushed through Rin but she wasn't afraid contrary she was smiling.She aimed at the middle of monster horde and pulled the trigger.Blue mass of lightning penetrated the air with an ear deafening sound.

*BOOOMMM*

Everything annihilated even the ground leaving behind a huge crater.There was no monster can be seen but soon ground shaked alerting Rin about more monsters coming.She changed her position and runned to another open space.

She still had one more bullet but her first gun was exploded into smithereens.After a minute new monsters covered the area and cornered Rin with their immeasurable numbers.She exhaled sharply and pulled the trigger last time.

*BOOOOMMM*

Same process repeated itself killing all of the monsters not leaving even a corpse behind.Rin was beyond exhausted but she succesfuly killed more than hundreds of monsters and with that she will get a rare class.Maybe with her leftover points she can buy modifiers and a better gun too.

A countdown appeared and after it finished everything cleared.The crater under Rin reformed dirt particules floated like going back in time.The man wearing black appeared and started to talk.

"Congrats! You have cleared the trial in the hard mode.You have accumulated 86.340 points.Abyss will give you a class in a hour while waiting please use the shop."Said the man and disappeared again.

Rin's vision changed in the blink of an eye.Now she was standing on a beatiful scenery filled with flowers and butterflies.
