Wishes

In the void of space, with nothing but stars in sight, I felt like I was floating, but I could not move, I could not feel, and I did not need to breathe. I was starting to freak out

'where is my body? why am I here?'

That's when I heard an all encompassing voice that sounded female.

"Hello young soul, I am afraid I must inform you that you died..."

she sounded, like a but... was coming

"-but, I have decided to give you some wishes and a new world of your choosing"

this was too good to be true, but I have nothing to lose, so I ask the only I can think of.

"How many wishes?"

the voice hummed in contemplation "I will give you 5 wishes, maybe some requests within reason, and you can choose your appearance, and before you even ask, yes you can choose your bodies proportions"

'okay I need to think, hmmm I don't want to to go into the modern version, but maybe I change how things turn out'

"For my first wish I want the ability to speak the magical language of snakes, and write words, along with runes in the snake language" I said

the voice replied with "easy next"

"I don't want Severus Snape to exist, but any potion he may have created and whatnot will be created by someone else to keep the timeline somewhat intact" I said, hoping not to have to deal with the jealous git.

The voice laughed like she understood my reasoning, and said "of course"

After some thinking I asked "can I have the ability the see a spell once and then understand how it works inside and out?" I want to be able to create my own spells so a good understanding will help a lot.

"very well, but you must practice the spells a total of 100 times for complete mastery" she said. I would bounce in joy if I could. I mean I just have to do a spell 100 times then I could do It wandlessly... wait

"is wandless magic possible" I asked, the movies never really shows anybody doing wandless magic. She replied "yes, but you must first complete a very painful ritual to absorb my artifacts, the ritual will destroy and then rebuild your magical core to be capable of all feats of magic" I did not like the sound of pain, but this is too amazing to let the chance pass. Then my fourth wish "can I get a system that shows my stats, inventory, and has a shop for magical ingredients, and information of spells and rituals, and more importantly wandlore"

After grumbling about how unoriginal my wish was she agreed. My last wish was a stretch, "can my background be that I am an orphan living across the street from lily evans, and that we are soul mates" I have always found the character to be amazing.

"that can be done, but you must remember that the world you are going to is real, and not a game or fantasy" she said. Of course it's real, but I want to fall in love with a smart, beautiful, and powerful witch. "now customize your appearance with this panel" as soon as she said that a translucent screen appeared in front of me.

I chose shoulder length black hair that looks like it has an aura of dark green in the sunlight. For my face I chose sharp aristocratic features with a sharp jaw and high cheekbones. For my eyes, a bright green that looked like fire was burning within them, they will glow bright like AK whenever I want. For my body I chose to be shredded, with just the right amount of mass to make my muscles seen behind whatever I am wearing. With that done I felt like I was on a roller-coaster and then the darkness came.
