Pledge Guilty

"They are not the only ones who are playing this switch-up. We are also guilty, and we tricked them the same way!" Ariel made recognition of what he has done. Artemis stared at his best friend. Meanwhile, Miraya stood up and ready to fire. She looked like to have some ammunition to strike back.

"See? Now, you're admitting that the real impostor is you!" Miraya pointed at Artemis with her glared, beautiful eyes. She folded her hands on the chest and could take a worse unpredictable punch from Artemis.

But Artemis could not do anything. Mainly because what Ariel said was 100 percent the truth. It rubbed on him, showing how bad he was actually. The fact Artemis was the one who arranged the plan strategically to lie to the real Miraya by sending someone else. Just because they never met each other, it didn't mean that he has to fool her.

"Now, tell me Ariel. Who was the culprit who planned to lie by switching places?" Miraya asked with a sense of arrogant tone. She kept gawking at Artemis while asking the question Ariel. Ariel huffed in defeat, but he knew the reality was. Artemis was pledged guilty because of his switching plan.

"I will never take the blame on me, ever!" Artemis fought back with a clenching jaw and a stubborn opinion about himself. It made Miraya mocked him even more. She pushed him on the edge of embarrassment.

"What do you think your fans will probably say about you if they know about this?" Miraya warned by widening her eyes. Artemis did a similar cast and dilated his eyeballs on her. His breath became uneven as if ready to blow.

"Wait a minute, how could you threat Artemis like this? This is not associated to his career at all, do not put a string on it!" Ariel opposed Miraya's sudden threat to his best friend.

"Are you still defending him after what he did? He is trying to trap me and my sister!" Miraya's tone was getting higher, and she furiously wanted to scratch Artemis's face right now. Of course, she couldn't do that. She'll be in charge of the legal action if it's happened.

"Don't forget that you also have a part in this chaos. You asked your sister to come instead of yourself, despite you have your own reason for that, it doesn't even matter." Miraya was shut up by Ariel's reasonable plea.

"So we both have the roles. That's what you should know," added Ariel more to his comment. Miraya's gaze turned to Artemis, and he gave her sly victory grins. He probably shouts out loud on his mind because of Ariel's.

"There's no point on having disputes like this. We must think what we should do next and how to tell our parents!" Marcella finally took her place to speak after watching the useless arguments for almost 20 minutes. She did not stand like others, but Ariel turned his head to see her behind.

"She's right. We have bigger problems than having an argument like this!" Ariel added while walking to the couch to sit.

Artemis also followed his best friend to sit rather than paying attention to Miraya's wrath. That made Miraya sat on the couch again eventually.

"Okay, so we agree that we have miscommunication about this date. I wanna tell you that Artemis also has no intention on this matchmaking plan at all. He rejects it!" Ariel opened the discussion by staring at both twin sisters then pointed to Artemis with his thumb.

"Exactly, I object!" Artemis added Ariel's last expressions.

"So, what do you want?" Miraya questioned both of the guys nonchalantly. Ariel and Artemis turned to look at each other before answering. Ariel gave a slight nod as a sign to Artemis to say what he intended to.

"I want you to talk to your parent and rejected this plan. I will never enggage to you!" said Artemis with consistency in his words. Miraya scoffed at him abruptly.

"Do you think that I want to be engaged with an arrogant rebel racer like you? Not in a chance!" she blurted at him annoyingly.

"Okay, let's just end this silly argument! Both of you won't get anything by insulting each other!" Ariel rebuked Artemis and Miraya for their obstinate attitude.

"We will talk to our parents about your objection, Artemis, but you also have to persuade yours to retrive their decision," said Marcella eventually with a soothing tone after the hot dispute a moment ago.

Artemis gazed up to his eyes on her when she talked. He was attentive and did not cut any of her words.

"What if your parents rejected it? What will you do?" Artemis softly asked Marcella while staring at her. Marcella turned her face to see Miraya and grasp her right hand.

"Actually, I don't know, I just ... I can't think right now." Marcella sighed and bowed her head confused. Miraya held her right side and leaned her forehead on Marcella's head.

"I will do something to solve this. Don't think too much about that, Baby!" Miraya hummed to Marcella tried to console her.

"I will never let you go through this by yourself. We caused this both so we have to stick together," Marcella replied to Miraya. She didn't want her sister to take the burden only for herself, although Miraya was the one who's being matched.

"I'll talk to Daddy. He will listen," Marcella added more and hugged Miraya.

Both Artemis and Ariel now felt the guilty slipping on their heart due to the reality on their face. How could they let the girls get through all of the problems by themselves?

"Fine ... I'll talk to my Dad about this. If I have to kneel, I'll do it. So stop hugging like you are going be sentenced tomorrow!" Artemis succumbed with his spoiled tone. He turned his eyes to see something else so they would not see his delicate part. At the same time, Ariel covered his smile by bowing a little of his head shyly.

"In conclusion, we'd be talking to each other parents and during the time, I think that we keep in touch to help each other so we can arrange other ways out if this doesn't work," Ariel suggested for some interaction among them.

"Why do we need to communicate?" Miraya asked with her frown look.

"Just to make sure that the parents won't come in our way. It's just a temporary. When they finally abort it, we can cut the lines," Ariel answered. Miraya did not say anything but glanced at Marcella to see her opinion. Marcella nodded and gazed up at Ariel.

"I agree, you can have our phone number. How about that?" Marcella answered Ariel with her smooth smiles.

"That's fair enough. Thank you," replied Ariel soothingly. Marcella beamed at him and lowered her stares. Miraya caught the odds and suspiciously glimpsed to both Marcella and Ariel. She forgot to ask the most crucial thing after she found Marcella at someone's house.

"Can I ask you something?" Miraya interrupted the situation occurred. Marcella glanced at Miraya while she looked at Ariel.

"Does it something happen to both of you last night?" Marcella shook and widened her eyes. She slowly turned her gaze to Ariel as if she begged him to keep the reality locked.

"Nothing happens!" Marcella dropped the answer quickly.
