Diva Vs Queen

Honey was always a beautiful incarnation, her body bounced and swayed while she was picking herbs. There were a lot more creatures present within the Garden Dimension but the levels of energy had only been on a steady rise. Looking around, she would often come across a new patch of plants.

While sauntering her way across the field, she watched the Trees sweeping clear a batch of soil and replanting.

The Treants that controlled the Garden Dimension were extremely attentive, normal farmers would have no chance to approach but Honey was a plant. She had free reign over the area, Kink was like a nutrient that they loved and Titan would intimidate the trees with a glare. Her own safety was assured, she was even safe to be absent minded. To the plants, she was a higher being, even Treants would get out of her way on command.

While twiddling her thumbs and working her way through one of the Cannabis fields, she approached the plant that was growing in the middle, put her hand across it's leaves and gently adjusted some crystals nearby. Whenever the crystals would fill, she would replace them with an empty.

As she finished, she pulled out a checklist that was written on a small tablet and clicked a box. There were a number of things that needed to be done in the Dimensional space. It would run on its own but if nothing were to ever be harvested or taken away, it would soon grow out of control.

"Deedle-de-dee, Diddle-di-day" Honey started skipping toward the next task on the list, she was more than halfway done and then she could focus on other things.

Within the Cannabis fields, thousands of bees combed their way through the rows.

When Honey saw the bees, she smiled and twirled. Her grin started to widen and she followed them around the garden for a while. It was good to see that the other plants were healthy but they had not experienced the same fortunes, she was one of a kind.

The bees worked tirelessly and buzzing was everywhere. The bees themselves had a hard time with Honey, her body was very fragrant.

As they swarmed around her, a few of them landed but they soon found themselves intoxicated and forced to fly away. Honey counted the many bees as she frolicked through the field.

Most of the plants were well above eye level, the puppet drones did most of the harvesting at their own intervals.

Honey came up to the Hive and pulled back the lid. None of the Bees seemed bothered by her presence, pulling a frame from the box, she found a tray in her storage and scraped the honey onto it. When she was done, she continued onto the other four trays and into the next box. There were more than a few dozen boxes of bees in each location. This month, it was time to empty this hive, they were worked on a rotation.

Honey changed out the trays when they were half full, storing them into her ring and bringing out another.

When she got to the red box, she found the queen inside. Honey had been working through some of her own understandings of her powers but there were a few questions of her own, her mischievousness had grown since meeting the girls in Lonestar City and she wanted to try something all on her own.

Honey pulled out some of the blue extract, the one she had been saving for Titan. She pulled a large glob of it and lowered it across the threshold of the Queen's inner chamber.

The bees that flew around froze when the Extract's essence wafted into the open air.

Closing the Box, honey stacked the other boxes back on top of it. There were more things on the checklist but she had earned a break. Sitting out in the open field, she stretched herself out in the light and did her best to take in the energy.

An hour passed before she realized it. Standing up, she saw the bees acting strangely. There was a lot going on but the bees themselves were keeping away from the Hive.

Honey went to investigate but when she got closer, there was a pressure she hadn't felt before. The pressure reminded her of the Empire's Truthers but no one else was around, the feeling was emanating from within the Boxes. More specifically, the box with the Queen.

The Queen's box shook, it knocked the other boxes on top away, their contents spilled to the soil.

Honey frowned. 'What a waste!' She ran at a full sprint to the Red box and pulled the lid off.

A bright silver light flushed out of the box and silver threads swallowed the Queen in a Cocoon. The Bees that were flying suddenly stopped, lost their will to live and plummeted to the ground.

A rain of dead bees tumbled down like gravel and Honey cleared them out of her hair.

The Queen was undergoing a change, a metamorphosis of her own. Her change had come so suddenly that the colony had thought she died, her thoughts went silent as she entered the change.

It was a tragic loss for the Colony, but the Queen was going through a change, it would affect eveything in the future.

The Hive Box shook again, again and again. Honey lost track of time.

She watched for half of the day and then went back to the other duties. On the tablet, she make note to go back and even put a checkbox next to it. Honey made her rounds, occasionally sampling some of the fruits.

There was a large rock garden, Titan had originally made fun of it but when he learned the true nature of the garden he stopped with his criticisms. Large monuments, single cast pieces of various metals stood erect in categories. It was a very big collection, in one glance, Honey could see that there were Thunder stone pillars, Lightning Rocks, Black Lightning Metal, Blue Lightning Metal, and lightning sand. The garden was split into many sections, the auras in each of them were unique to their attributes and formations kept their energies concentrated to a single area.

As she found the Lifestones at the center, she found another formation in the core of the pile. It had absorbed all the negative side effects of the plants within the formations, the white stones would occasionally form from the constant condensation. The Life Pearls were a life saving medicine but they were difficult to create and didn't exist in nature. They were a happy byproduct of the garden.

Every time the Cannabis fields were rotated, another Life Pearl would be crushed and mixed into the field. Although the usage was a bit eccentric there were enough to have a surplus.

Honey grabbed three of the pearls and took them away, studying the formation for a bit took away her attention. Reading its title had put her into a headspin, it was called the Seven Twin's Multi-Ultra Super Condenser Array or the St. Musca formation.

The Array was created by Mr. Munju's apprentices and none of them had the gene for naming things. More specifically, the St. Musca Formation absorbed all the toxins within an area and concentrated them into a single stone. The stone would grow over time, it could even be taken away and used for cultivation in dark arts, another would form in it's place shortly after.

Having use for the Pearls, Honey had already gone. She was headed back toward the Battleship when she heard one of the Keen Trees whomping away at the ground.

The Garden Dimension was a relatively quiet place, noise, especially loud noises, could be heard from a great distance with little disruption.

Rushing toward the noise, Honey saw the Queen Bee's new appearance. She was fast, weaving around the Keen Tree as it came crashing down toward her, the Queen Bee did not feel threatened in any way.

Her body had gone through a change, she was only five inches tall but she had a humanoid shape.

The Keen Tree recognized her as an enemy and threw itself at her again, this time pulling its roots up and using them to hurl itself into the air. Branches and roots flew toward the Queen like snapping whips.

The Queen easily dodged everything, to her, they were going very slow. After a few dodges, she noticed Honey on approach. Honey was a treant as well, a plant that had evolved. She was different though, her mind wasn't wild and she looked just like another queen.

"Oh? Come to attack me for offending your subjects?!" Queen Bee flew toward Honey.

Honey used her ring to pull out a butterfly net, trapping the Queen inside. She shoved her in a jar and the Keen Tree settled down.

"I didn't come to make problems, I came to see what the problem was. You're a real wonder, I thought it would have taken days for you to evolve. I didn't expect this though, you're so.. .. so." Honey hung on her words.

"Don't you dare say small!" The Queen puffed her cheeks, as a Queen Bee, she was always larger than the males.

"So CUTE!" Honey hugged the Jar.

The Queen felt her head spin as she tumbled around in inside. Her head started to ache. 'What's with this girl?' Soon, she had passed out, dizzy.

Honey noticed the change and stopped. 'Oh?' She shrugged it off and started skipping back toward the ship. There were some cages in the Ship for creatures that were out of control, Honey had other chores to do but she wanted have a snack while she was there.

After opening the hatch, she found a formation cage and stowed the jar inside with the lid loosened. When Honey took her hand off the lid, the Queen worked furiously to open it and the Jar fell away.

Honey caught the Jar and laughed, "I don't like troublemakers, why were you bothering the Keen Tree?"

"Keen Tree?" The Queen cocked her head, "That was a greenlip sunspirit flower tree, the flowers are very sweet."

"Ah.. Well, That.." Honey stopped. There were indeed differences between the sorting trees, she had always thought that it was an evolutionary thing.

"Besides! I'm a Queen." She harrumphed and turned away.

'A Drama Queen?!' "Great.." Honey dragged out the word with her mouth. She wasn't impressed, she had met Princes before, because of that she was not particularly impressed with Royalty.

"What's that suppose to mean?!" 'Err' The Queen snarled, it came out like an angry buzz.

Honey giggled, "Now that was cute. I've got a few things to do, so please try not to strain yourself. These formations are really good. Here." She passed another glob of the Blue Extract over to the Queen, it flowed into the formation and she grabbed it like a medicine ball.

"You? You're the one who put the.. Okay, all is forgiven. Shoo, go you." the Queen waved Honey away and started knawing on the glob.

Honey smiled and left the Battleship. 'What's next on the list?'

Sighing lightly, Honey pulled out a large razor. Deugson was a large spirit. His home with was destroyed and Kink had given him a place to stay in the dimension, so long as he worked the land often.

Deugson's hair was a very rare crafting material, once every month, Kink would have someone shave it. Honey had drawn the short straw.

It took more than an Hour to fleece Deugson's coat and the rest of the evening to finish her other chores. Honey was exhausted when she went back to the Battleship to wash the Truck.

As she entered the door, she heard a clamoring of pans and doors opening or shutting quickly.

'Intruder?' Honey tried to think of a reason why or even how someone would break in when she saw a faint golden light swing by the doorway. 'The Queen?'

Inside the Kitchen, the Queen was tearing the cabinets apart, searching for something. She was a lot bigger than she was before, her measurements rivaled Honey's.

A glob of the blue extract appeared in her hand, the aroma wafted into the room and Honey grinned.

Instantly, the Queen stopped moving. Like a mechanical doll, her head nearly spun around her body and locked onto the blob.

Honey tossed it into the air and opened the door, she left small globs in a trail that led back to the formation. When she saw the state of the formation array, she stopped what she was doing. The Queen had indeed broken free, the formation was broken. 'Wow, she's a lot stronger than I thought.'

Hitting the Alarm, she saw the doors come down but she was locked in the same space as the Queen.

"What are you doing?" The Queen looked ravenous. "I'm so hungry.. none of this is sweet enough. None of it!"

'Sweets?' Honey flipped through her ring and found a bowl of the custard she had recently made, she tossed the bowl to the Queen.

Table manners aside, the Queen stuffed her face with the Spirit Fruit Custard. It's bright red color was vivid to the eyes.

Honey smiled, pulled out another and sat down to eat another share.

When the Queen was done with the first bowl, her face was covered in red fruit dyes. She took a deep breath, held out her bowl and asked for more before smacking her lips.
