Chapter 20; She has to undergo surgery immediately...

"Doctor.. doctor.. help... it's an emergency.." Zhan Hong stepped on the brakes before alighting and switched the engine off.

"Don't worry Zhan Shan, you will be all right." Mu Rong opened the door as he alighted with Zhan Shan in his hands and dashed into the hospital.

The nurses were pushing the emergency bed to the door, Mu Rong hurriedly placed her onto the bed.

Zhan Shan held his hand without loosening as they rushed her into the emergency surgery room.

"My baby..." One hand held her tummy while the other one held Mu Rong's hand.

Mu Rong's clothes were wet from all the blood, but since they were dull colors, no one could see it apart from him feeling the wetness. "everything will be all right Shan Shan."

"She has to undergo surgery immediately, who is her family amongst the two of you? " The other nurses pushed her inside while they remained outside according to hospital regulations.

She wanted to do an abortion but still, it was so painful losing her baby like this, it pricked her heart.

"I'm..." Zhan Hong move forward in panic and hurriedly received the papers to sign and give consent.

His entire body was nervous and tensed up, his palms were sweating while they trembled, he glanced at the papers and held the pen tightly in between his fingers.

While he was mastering enough courage to paste his signature down on those white papers, the papers and the pen were snatching away and thought maybe it was Mu Rong and instantly opened his mouth to reprimand him.

"Damn it, Mu Rong, this isn't time for jokes.." He turned around to face who it was but was surprised to see his brother Zhan Ping.

"Here doctor.." he didn't take long before he signed and passed the papers back to the doctor.

"Thank you, Master Zhan.." the doctor walked into the surgery room to complete the procedures before they could perform emergency surgery.

There was a bench along the hallway that was aligned against the wall, Zhan Hong was the first one to settle down as his entire body trembled.

He was nervous and anxious as hell, he was feeling hot, even though it was chilly early morning.

"You need to wash your hands and possibly change those clothes." Zhan Ping glanced at Mu Rong who had blood stained all over. The scent was too strong that it didn't escape his sharp nose.

"Okay.." he nasally responded before robotically walking into the washrooms.

Zhan Zhei was just standing there without a word while his back leaned against the wall as he watched Zhan Hong and Zhan Ping, after a few minutes they all sat down.

The surgery room lights turned on, and they knew the surgery had just begun and they had to wait.

"Brother, if news gets out that she is in the hospital, things will get wild, we need to protect this information from leaking, it might destroy our family reputation and company completely... " Zhan Zhei frowned in worry, even though it was the Mu family Hospital, they can't do anything unless they got permission from the President.

" All right, I will try to contact Mu Shen... " Zhan Ping sighed as he took his phone out of the trouser pockets and dialed Mu Shen's number which was an international one and could be called anytime.

Mu Zhu was busy going through the files while Mo Han worked on the laptop when they heard a phone ring, Mo Han lifted his bowed head and glanced at Mu Zhu.

" Receive the phone call.. " his voice was just moderate, not that flat, and not too warm.

"You also can receive it.." he harrumphed before turning away and minding his own business at the laptop.

"Mu Zhu, what kind of attitude is that? When I tell you to do something, you need to do it.." he frowned gazing at him from head to toe, he sometimes wondered if he was too lenient with him and thus he spoilt him too much.

"Who said that it's my work? I'm not a secretary! I'm going to make more coffee.." he stood up and stomped away, Mo Han glanced at him as he vanished through the corridor and decided to receive the phone call.

"Hello.." his voice was flat and alienating, its roughness could tell that the person had pulled several all night and hadn't had enough rest.

"Hello, Zhan Ping calling here, I want to talk with Mu Shen. " Zhan Ping had earlier thought that the phone wouldn't be received after it rang several times without an answer.

" He is busy, what can I do for you, Master Zhan Ping? " He placed the laptop on the table before leaning back on the couch and closing his eyes which were beginning to feel itchy.

He lifted his left free hand and gently wrapped his eyes as they had begun irritating.

"Oooh, we have run into an Emergency and want to control the CCTV cameras in the hospital that can be a final blow to our company if the footage gets leaked also I think you have seen the issue of Mu Rong, I want to ask for assistance.." he went straight to the point, he didn't want to delay any longer, they should be able to have a solution before daybreak.
