14 Chapter 14; Who could she have offended?

"Ohhh.." she stood up and let him do the needful, but she was surprised when the maids walked in with a small tiny mattress and placed it on the floor with some old covers and sheets.

She didn't confront them, she just eyed them and stood aside letting them do whatever they wanted to do.

After finishing setting up the mattress on the floor, Butler Lu threw the manilla packet that contained medicine onto the floor.. "you can have that medicine.."

He signaled the maids to clean up the table and walked away closing the door.

She glanced at the thin mattress on the floor and just smiled, she didn't care, she picked up the brown medicine bag and walked into the bathroom.

She stripped naked before she began cleaning herself then she can apply the ointment and also take the tablets.

Inside the VIP lounge, they announced to the people who were waiting to board that it was time, Mu Shen and Mu Zhu stood up as they walked into the boarding line and got cleared before boarding their plane.

They were taking the business class seats and were a bit comfortable but not as much as traveling with a private jet.

They sat near the window before fastening their safety belts, Mu Shen closed his eyes to rest while Mu Zhu continued going through the files.

Inside the Maple Valley Mansion, Zhou Meili was done freshening up, she took her medicine before applying the ointment and wore the black bathrobe she found hanging in the bathroom.

She walked to the door and locked it, she glanced at the tiny mattress on the floor but got onto the big bed, it was still neatly made but they had taken the heavy covers away.

She picked up the covers that were on the floor and switched the heater on before covering herself well.

"Hihihi... I still get to lie down on this big bed. " She was a carefree spirit and so long as she wasn't kicked out, everything else was just wonderful.

What they hadn't expected was that every room contained hidden CCTV cameras which were only accessible by Mu Shen.

The drugs were antibiotics and caused her dizziness, it didn't take long before she fell asleep.

The heater was turned on and also the lights were a bit dim, she smiled even in her sleep.

In the Lake View Villa, the two sides of the mob began fighting and a huge brawl broke out.

The anti-fans fought against Zhan Shan's fans and the fight got serious.

"How dare you call out our princess as a whore? You are the ones.." the fans remarked back while fighting.

At the main entrance of the Villa, the guards didn't manage to stop them and thus they let them in.

Mu Rong nervously called his father, but after several rings, the phone only responded with phone busy, try calling again later.. phone busy try calling again later...

Zhan Hong, his father Zhan Tao, and his mother Wen Fang finally arrived at the Lake View Villa but from a distance, they could see the huge brawl happening at the entrance.

The chauffeur immediately halted the car stopping it abruptly, "Mistress, Masters.. there seems to be a huge brawl ahead." He reported whatever he was seeing, they also could see.

"It's okay, stop here." He got his phone before calling a police commissioner he knew, and after two rings, the phone call was received.

"Hello Police Commissioner Tang, I need your help immediately, I need you to get some people fighting at a private residence and I will definitely see you." He went straight to the point, they always had taken several transactions and this wasn't new.

"All right, give me thirty minutes." The call ended as they watched the mob in front of the gate fighting.

Zhan Hong had tried calling Zhan Shan's mobile phone several times but to no avail, it was off and he didn't have Mu Rong's contact number.

At the International Airport, the plane had already taken off and it was just a matter of a few hours before they could arrive at their destination.

Zhan Zhei tried calling several times but the only thing he received was a robotic response, he was unavailable.

"He just came back after so many years, do you think he returned to New York City? His phone isn't going through. " Zhan Zhei placed the phone on the desk before glancing at the shares graph, even though it was going down little by little it was still affecting the Zhan Company.

" I don't know... " Zhan Ping frowned after having contacted several company PR officers.

Zhan Ping tugged his suit coat off as he stood up pacing around anxiously.

"Who could she have offended? And how many people exactly know that she is pregnant?" His face was stiff and frigid and his tone was laid back, you couldn't tell if he was angry or not, and you couldn't depict any emotions.

He was a tall man and not too muscular, he weighed around seventy kilograms, and his eyes and hair were jet black, but his eyes were sharp and penetrative.
