Interrogation Has It's Uses

"So, your a vampire? Right?" "People call us that, yeah."

Cars are driving by while we sit on the curb outside a Eleven Seven. "What did people call you originally?" "Demons." "Oh.." Sophia is currently drinking her Strawberry Soda. "..Can I see your fangs?" I asked. She turns her head to face me, giving me the look like I'm crazy "...Why?" "Just to.. Uh.. Make sure." After staring at me for a solid five seconds, she then faces back to her drink "...Perv" She opens her mouth, for about two seconds, bites onto her straw and goes back to drinking. Baffled by what she said, I go back to staring at the cars that pass by.

"Ex huh? how'd that happen?" She asks me. "Well, she was sweet n' kind, then she got mad for some reason. It felt like I was trapped, so I confronted her about it and in the end, I kicked her out of my home. After that, never saw her again."

I could just hear her sucking the entire time I was talking, not going to lie. It's getting on my nerves. "..Do vampires have kids?" I ask. She spits out some of her rose coloured drink, some even spilling on her and stares at me with her bright red eyes. I meet her gaze with a mischievous grin. "The fuck?" She says in a disgusted, high pitched tone. Satisfied with her answer, I put hands behind my head, lean back a bit and look up at the now starry sky. She looks at me with a mad expression. "I'm now regretting protecting you." She stands up, stretching her legs. "Ugh. I even got some on my hoddie, I'm borrowing yours." She grabs the cuffs on my hoodie and starts to pull it off me. As I'm trying to resist, I fall back on the concrete and she successfully takes it off me.

As I'm on my back looking above me, she takes off her black hoodie, revealing a black crop top. "Are you a goth or something?" I ask, as she puts my hoddie over her head "No, I just like the colour black." She pulls it down and straightens it out, it obviously being too large for her. "You better give it back." "I will, calm down. Besides, white doesn't suit me." "Your wardrobe must be darker than my personality." I mutter. "What was that?" "Nothing" She threw her dark and semi-wet hoddie on my face, deserved I guess. Unsurprisingly, It smells like sugar. I stand up, holding her hoddie in my hands. "Lets get going then."

It's quiet... Maybe a bit too quiet. Probably because the conversation before died. In one hand, I want to ask so many questions, but in the other, I don't want her to kill me. "Is Taylor really after me?" I ask. "Sort of." She replies... "Going to elaborate any further?" "Remember those two guys at the alley? They know you were there now. After following you for a while, they stumbled across her. Now she is a vampire." "Oh. Wait, they know where I live?" "No stupid, I caught onto your trail first. Besides, I saw them go after her." "You vampires are creeps." "Is that what you say to your soon to be saviour?" "Why are you even 'saving' me then?" "Because.. I don't like those guys and their group." "..Okay.." Honestly, I'm really sceptic about her. But the evidence doesn't lie, she is a vampire. But if she can suck my blood, only then will I be convinced. After all, vampires are fantasy... Or at least I think so. "If you were to suck my blood, will I die, or get turned into a vampire?" I ask, as we stop at a crosswalk. "Ugh, no and no. Why do you keep asking me questions?" "Because I want to make sure you are what you say you are. I can't just accept the fact that your a blood sucker" "Okay fine! I'll prove it to you right now!"

She drags me into a nearby dark alley by my hand, slamming me into the brick wall. I can see people walk pass the alley, a stark contrast to the bright street and the dark back route. She grabs onto my collar of my shirt. "Ready Jason?" "Ready for what..?" She pulls me away from the wall and gets behind me. Her arms go under mine and pulls herself closer to my back. I can feel the thick layer of wool that she stole from me. Suddenly, I feel the wind go down my body as we go up. She takes me above the surrounding buildings, giving me a clear view of the city in the night. Buildings glow bright, the streets are glistening and more importantly... I am so fucking cold. "Well?" She says, somehow not struggling to hold me. "Honestly, I was expecting something different" I reply. "Oh yeah? I'm taking us home, I got tired of walking anyway."

Honestly, this is amazing. Flying through the dark sky undetected is fun. Even when you have a vampire flying for you. What I'm amazed about is that she can carry me. She is pretty short, her head reaches my shoulders. Or maybe I'm just too tall, I don't know. "Drop us off on the ground!" I shout "Why? I can just take you to the roof elevator?" She shouts back. "Because they need to know that I arrived so I don't get arrested!" "Oh.. Fair enough!" We land down at the dumpsters, where no one is around. "Damn, my arms are tired after that." I say, stretching my arms. "Good thing I'm not doing that again" I walk into the building as she follows. I head into the elevator and she also follows. I head to my apartment and go inside. She is also here.. I drop her black hoddie on the table and lean on the kitchen counter. "So you live here now?" I say, looking at her red eyes. "Yep, I can't go back to my old place, not after confronting you." So she says. "Great, make yourself at home I guess." I say walking into the living room.

"I already did that when we met." "You snooped around my entire apartment?!" "Maybe. You were too busy showering to notice, nice bathroom by the way."

What.
