The Greatest Dilemma [1]

Carson Li grunted to himself after he had got back into the car. He motioned for the driver to drive back to his house. He grunted again when he remembered his stepmother's words. "Find a wife to bear your heir," the woman had spoken to him coldly, not caring that no woman would want to marry a criminal.

"No one will never want to marry a tattooed criminal!" He had hissed at the woman, but his stepmother had slapped him. She glared at him after she had removed her hand from his face. It was as if just placing her hand on his skin made her hand burn.

"It's your fault your father died," the woman was cruel to Carson. Carson's breath hitched, but he didn't respond; he was too hurt to even try to react. Carson just left the house without responding to his stepmother. That woman doesn't understand. He thought in anger as he tried to relax in the car.

He couldn't even relax in the car and when he slowly realized it, he placed his head in his hands and groaned. His driver was worried about him, but she didn't say anything to him as she understood his moods. Boss is currently in a bad mood and it's all that woman's fault. She wasn't there when Boss was told of Big Boss's death. She thought, driving back to Carson's house. When Carson saw a lonely woman at a large house, he gaped at her. The woman flicked her eyes to his green ones and Carson suddenly wished that the car would stop. "Wait! Stop the car, Jessie!" He ordered and Jessie stopped the car quickly. Carson got out of the car and he approached the woman that looked like she was ready to flee.

Carson gently grabbed her arm, not increasing his grip. "Let go," the woman said, not trying to fight him off. Carson didn't release the woman yet.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you," Carson mumbled to the woman. "I need you to do me a favor," he begged the woman.

"I don't even know you!" She panicked and Carson pulled her towards his car. He gently pushed her into the car and Jessie sped off quickly. The woman whimpered and Carson felt bad for practically kidnapping the poor girl.

Jessie didn't approve of Carson's actions and she glared at him while driving back to the house. Carson felt Jessie's glare and he silently gulped down his fear.
