Real Challenge 1

 I looked towards the bushes and saw two green eyes with slits looking deep in to mine. My whole body felt paralyzed as I stared in to it's eyes. The Aura it was giving off was definitely higher than D rank. It's growl was a mix of the sound rattle snakes and goose make when it is angry. It was so deep and horrifying to hear.

 Slowly, A mana beast with reptilian skin came out of the bushes. It was as big as a fully grown Bison and It had a long reptile like tail while it stood in two legs. It also had short arms with long harp nails that could even pierce Iron with it.

 In the past when Damian was alive, Scientists secretly tried to bring back extinct animals and they also succeeded in doing so. But they never released those information to the media and kept the extinct animals caged in masses secretly. 

 But when some one you know lifted the seal ' cough ' and brought upon apocalypse, Scientists neglected their experiments and escaped to save themselves and to save their families. But without anyone to maintain the labs, they automatically went in to power saving mode and unlocked all the doors of cages to maintain the power which would be wasted on the cages and fully locked down the labs in different places of the world.

 Just like the other animals, The extinct animals who didn't died in the apocalypse started to evolve and broke free from the locked down labs.

 And as time passed they slowly multiplied. Right now one of such animals is in front of me.

 A Velociraptor. One of the most agile and scariest animal in the Mesozoic Era. As I was influenced by its pressuring Aura I heard a small bell sound resonating in my mind. 

" Ruyi Jingu Bang Spear Art, First form, Touching the Heaven. " Zora said in a calm voice as he drew out his spear. As if waiting for the cue, Velociraptor opened it's mouth and prepared to use it's innate ability. But before it could, The spear in Zoras hand started to extend in form of mana.

 It all happened too fast as I couldn't even comprehended what I saw. A second before the raptor could use its innate ability, A spear blade made out of mana cleanly severed the neck of velociraptor in half as its head flung to the side. 

 It even took few seconds for the Body of the raptor to react to its death, As the body fell to the ground and blood splurted out of its cleanly severed neck area. But what surprised me more was, the power behind the attack Zora just performed.

 I could see a fifty meter arc in front of me that obliterated every thing in it's path. And amidst of that destruction was two more carcasses of Velociraptors. I guess Zora sensed them and tried to take all of them out in a single swipe. 

' So this is the power of the first ranker in second year cadets. ' I thought to my self as I felt even more powerless and my drive to perfection increased more.

 Zora Wukong is the first ranked student of the second years, He is from one of the most powerful and biggest sects in the world. The Kong Sect, and Zora is the sole hair of that sect. He has yellowish golden color eyes and shoulder length black hair with a slim muscular build. In the doomed future that has yet to come, he'll be known as the Incarnation Of Sun Wukong due to the impossible feats he'll be achieving. 

" Thank you Zora. " Although he did that to save himself, I still thanked him.

" You're welcome. " He said as he stored his spear in a ring while walking towards the dead carcasses of the raptors. There were three of them.

" Wow, Nice save Zora, But you left one alive. " Cecilia said cheerfully while bringing us tea in her hand, It was as if she was so much used to this. 

 It was just then I noticed another Raptor coming from outside of the obliterated area.

" Ha ha. it is the weakest one. I left it as a training dummy for Avion to get Real Life Battle experience with some one stronger. He He. " Zora said smiling, while looking at me. Which gave me chills for some reason. 

" Don't worry Avion, It's just F+. If I see you in danger I'll step in and save you. " Zora spoke up again, This time genuinely. Honestly I know his reasons. Although not now, I was someone with C rank potential. So He wants me to quit this club of my own accordance, because it isn't a club like any other. In here you will be risking your life while Exploring for beautiful Sceneries. And if you are weak you'll only be depending on others to help you in this club. 

' But I can't quit my Hobby. So I'll prove all of them hear and now that I am not as weak as they think. Today they'll all bear witness to my prowess. ' I thought to my self as I summoned my Naginata. I am not afraid of going all out in here because of the Oath we all have performed as insurance to keep secrets within the club in the club.

 The Velociraptor I was about to face was somewhat smaller compared to the ones Zora defeated. As the Raptor noticed my presence, It screamed in a horrifying tone and shot sound vibration bullets towards my direction.

 I was able to block the first attack but failed to block the second one. I was flung backwards to a near by tree as it hit me and my whole body vibrated while blood dripped out from my nose. 

 I felt dizzy for a moment and when I opened my eyes I saw the raptor only five meters away from me heading towards my direction aiming for my neck. I quickly got up and used the staff of Naginata to block its mouth from biting me. 

 As I blocked its mouth from biting me, I let go of my right hand from the staff and reinforced every fiber of that hand with mana while punching the Raptor on it's jaw. But I was only able to graze it's jaw as it quickly reacted and stepped backwards with its great agility. 

 I also reacted fast as I got ready to perform a weapon art.

" Echo Of Gale Thrust Art, First Form, Blades of wind " I slowly muttered while performing the art as five wind blades shot out from the blade of my naginata.

But every one of those blades missed the raptor as it dodged them with fast speed.

' Velociraptors are smart compared to any other lower ranked mana beast. So tricks I used on weak wild boars won't work on them. '

' What can I do, I can't loose here. If I lose here, I won't be able to enjoy my hobby. ' I thought to myself while brainstorming my possible winning chances. 

' I guess I have to use it. ' I thought to myself as I activated 'Lock' on the raptor and touched its tail while activating dash as fast as I can.

To balance themselves while running, Velociraptors uses their reptilian like tail, But what if they lose it's big reptilian tail Huh?
