Note: Cover picture is not mine, if the creator of this picture wants it to be taken down just message me. (Author's warning; This novel might be quite graphic in words as I would use curse words without mellowing it down. Possible R-18 in the future with some degenerate stuff too and a little bit of gory bits too so if this is not your cup of tea then don't read this. Might do also include Fan fic elements but we'll see how I develope this.)

A Helping hoof?

"Lord Yarrid, we mean no harm and I assure you we are not slavers" Harold stepped up even if he felt fear seeing the large Beast in front.

{I know, no child of Erlune would ever dare to collude with the slavers.} The Yak Lord's eyes looked into Rhean the priestess. This alerted the Party of the blunder they might have made, these Beast Lords may be animals but they have intelligence on par with the various races. Maybe seeing them as only beast made them underestimate the Beast Lords, seeing that the Yak Lord seemed knowledgeable of their culture.

{Do not fret, Lord Erene does not know of your customs even though some of us are quite an erudite when it comes to learning new things. I am just more knowledgeable of your histories and traditions because I was once the steed of the human you call, All-seeing monk.} The Yak Lord said.

"Abbot Tien of the Guandong Monastery!! But isn't that about 150 years ago when the Yak he rode to subdue a Demon General on the Crimson Killing fields vanished on his death!? You were that Yak he rode?" Ashea the Healer was wide eyed as she remembered the story she was told when they were just kids.

"The Thunder Yak!!" Rhean's timid behaviour instantly vanished as she looked at the large Beast with shinig eyes like she just saw an idol of hers. The rest of the Party also remembered, Abbot Tien was one of the strongest humans to have ever walked the Bright Sky Realm and his steed the Thunder Yak was very famous as it had helped Abbot Tien in many of his heroic exploits.

When he had died the Thunder yak disappeared, many thought the steed died along with his master because of a slave contract Tien had put on the Yak or the family of Abbot Tien hid the Yak as a trump card even if they say they have no idea where the Yak is. To think the famous Thunder Yak ahd become the Beast Lord Yarrid of the Primal continent.

{It seems my adventures with master Tien still circulates your society. But enough of that, I can tell what you are planning but it would not work. Erene might not know of your cultures like I do but she is no fool. She surely wouldn't think you would circle this mountain to go to the Slavers. Let me guess you plan to pass through the territories of those enslaved beast lords don't you?} Yarrid looked at Harold which he could tell was the leader of the group.

"Yes, Lord Yarrid." Harold was nervous and fidgetting cause anytime now the Hawk Lord could swoop in anytime.

{I can see you worry Erene would catch up, don't underestimate that Old Goat. Being able to hold half a mountain range with me proves his capability. But this is where your plan is flawed, we Beast Lords have agreed to let the Young Beast Lord candidates fight for territory on the area formerly owned by the enslvaed ones.

If you try to pass that way you will be greeted by at least a hundred young beast that had potential to be Beast Lords. Whoever wins will be crowned as the new Beast Lord but even in battle they would take note of any creatures that would tresspass on the agreed battlegrounds. There are also Beast Lords assigned as arbitrators that would ensure fainess for all creatures that would take part in the selections.

You going in would count as taking part in the selections, thus getting the attentions of the arbitrators. And I am one of those arbitrator of these Selections, because I have the cosmic eyes that Master Tien has taught me. This answers why I know you have come to this path, but your plan is clear to me that you want an end to the pointless war and so do I. Time is limited as Erene is getting serious and impatient. Let me talk to the Young one first." Yarrid's eyes glowed as it shot a beam on the bird cage that Turli held.

*Skree!

The young Hawk let out her wings as she felt the freedom she just regained. She looked menacingly at the two legged creatures that captured her and was unwilling at how easy it is for them to capture her. She wanted to peck and claw at them already but she looked at the Yak Lord, Yarrid.

{Hoohoo, you are as intelligent as your mother. Thankfully you did not get as much hot-headedness like your Father, listen here little one. You must follow these group of adventurers as you are fated to be with them and it will surely end the war earlier, you have seen the damage that was done by the pointless battle your Father started. This must end now or this continent would face danger again} Yarrid only talked to the young Hawk while the adventurers stood there frozen at how easy it is for the Yak Lord to kill them with just his eyes alone.

{But these people tied me up!! I want to fight them for my honor!} the young hawk was still indignant at the result of the battle, she was a proud young miss and haven't found a worthy adversary yet in her generation. But being defeated by these small creatures damaged her pride very much.

{And father started this war because of the death of my useless brother!! Why should I help them? Even If I don't care for that useless wastrel he was still my brother, I won't follow these people!!} the Young Hawk was adamant in refusing.

{Hais~ You have your mother's strong attitude alright. Don't worry I'll ensure you that you won't get hurt.} Yarrid knew he must do this quickly even if the Young Hawk was reluctant about it. His eyes glowed as it shone upon the Young Hawk and it covered here with runes.

Soon the young Hawk turned into mottes of light as she became a pendant that flew over to Harold who still looked dumbfouned at the skwaking and mooing of the two beast in front of them. He was speechless when the pendant attached itself onto his neck.

{I have sealed the Young Hawk into a pendant which you could use to call upon her services. It would last for ten years and after that the seal shall vanish, take your party and follow this path. Use the scroll of teleportation you have on Bladewind's territory. Other Arbritrators here would feel the fluctuation of the scroll and might damage it from afar. But before you all go, these three must remain here.} Yarrid looked at the Priestess, the Paladin and the Shield Bearer.
