4 Entry 4

Day 17 - Month 1, Day 1

Let it be known that Pre-war America was the most wasteful society that I had ever seen, during our scavenging runs we would comb the beach, and shore line to pick up washed up trash.

We found TONS of plastic and glass, really anything that could end up in the ocean. So we of an evening just grab anything that was still together, as for actual scavenging we hit the washed up or crashed ships along the coast.

Most had been scraped years ago but some had the occasional engine that who ever scrapped couldn't carry it. I had actually built a Asian style hand cart to transport some of the heavier items and to free up my body guards that came with.

With the scrap gathered I went to work on the actual boat, I gathered the whole settlement to pull the thing out of the water as I had to detach the hill from the vessel to re-wire it. But before re-wiring I put in the new batteries, the batteries I had pulled from cars and other vehicles.

On days where I didn't work on the ship I worked on my personal gear; I reinforced my clothes by putting a thin layer of Vibranium that I summoned via The Essence of Crafter. This made my gear light and bullet proof up to 5.56 and resistant to higher caliber.

I also bought the Terminal the settlement had for 20 caps as it was "broken" I took it apart to about and made a "portable" computer it is about the size of a of a Xbox.

I would make a Pipboy but that would draw to much attention and if I want one I could head down to Vault 88 or 111 to grab it.

With, my mission done (payed 500 cpas) and my equipment made I used my free ride to head to Boston airport or at least as far as they were willing to take me.

[Inventory: Vibranium infused Clothes, Revolver Shotgun, and regular 45. Revolver, survival Knife, and 1 week of rations and water. Caps 730]

—————Month 1, Day 3————-

We made a pit stop at Libertalia, they are a small city that has sprung up around the partial wreckage of a old tanker. They are also the main providers of food for Boston through trade and tributes and a trading hub for for the NE of the Common Wealth.

That is where we stopped to recharge/trade, I bought an Eyebot which cost about 300 caps as it was in almost perfect condition but needed to be reprogrammed which was no problem.

As I didn't have a lot of scrap laying around I just left it as is but I did coat it in Vibranium as this thing was my only back up for the time being.

It was also nice to visit a city for the first time in awhile and see new people, while they all looked a little worse for wear and malnourished they were in good spirts.

I also got caught up on the local dangers like Super Mutants had taken over Fort Strong meaning we couldn't get within a a mile of the place, which means my ride was cut short.

They were willing to drop me off at Nordhagen Beach, which was just on the other side of a bay or a days walk through some ruins, Which would be my first real time exploring the ruins of the commonwealth.

—————Month 1, Day 4————-

I decided I was going to take the land route to the airport as I didn't want to swim or make a raft to the other side of the bay. And let me say that the

Wasteland is fucking terrifying, everything is likely to kill me in some way.

Not just the mutated animals or raiders, it was the ruins covered in rust or gross that would give out as sewers had washed out and collapsed the road. And to make things harder I had brought my cart which I had to pull over the down building and rubble.

I avoided Easy City Downs, as I stuck to the coast I had MJ (Eyebot) draw them away while I moved on ahead. But by the end of the night I and it to the outer edge of the Airport main building where I wanted to hold up for a couple of weeks while I gather some of the robots that where scattered all over the airport.

But I was worn out and settled down in the main tower for the night and had MJ keep watch.
