Day 6

The windmill is finally done, the main body was the easy part as the annoying part was hauling all the parts up the light house.

The way it works is very basic, the windmill itself would turn a generator that was located at the top of the lighthouse the power would then go to a transformer then to the battery bank the settlement used.

Once the power was going I am now fully able to start work on the guns I had designed previously, I started work on the break actions as they are the easiest.

Before I could get going on full on all my projects I started to work on my magnetic smelter and smithy. With it built I will be able to reforge all the equipment the settlement used and to start work on my personal projects.

The smelter should only take a couple of days to get set up along with the rest of the equipment for reforging and setting up the guns.

Day 10

My equipment is all set up and the first thing I did was fix the light house. It just needed a new light bulbs after I got the electricity running, I had to make my own light bulbs as they hadn't found a replacement in years.

Will I couldn't get glass from sand in my equipment here I could melt glass to make a decent bulb to be used. The next I started to make the guns I had been requested to make, sadly I did have all the right equipment to make rifles as I didn't have a machine to "Rifle" the barrel.

So smooth boar break actions are the way to go, as shotguns are a great platform to build off of. They could shoot a variety of ammo a from solid slugs to buck shot that would a great for small game Hunting, while slugs would be great for taking down Giant Crabs.

Day 11-16

Five days of working on guns and simple weapons I have finally completed the projects given to me, the weapons once finished including a bullet press totaled too.

10 break actions chambered in 12 gauge

5 breach loading rifle

20 Revolvers very bear bones

30 knives all serrated.

This actually got me payed extra for the first time as the knives were not requested so got an extra 100 caps which totaled to about 250 caps in total for my work thus far.

I knew I was being taken advantage of but I couldn't afford to change that, I was also quite lucky as the settlement had actually been very kind to me thus far all things considered.

Upon finishing my requested jobs and my own equipment for the future (Armor, gun, knife etc.) I approached John about fixing the boat for the settlement in exchange for some caps and a ride to the Boston Airport as their was a bunch of scrap and just North is the Mechanist layer where I can fully set up long term and try and leave this local multiverse.

[Yes I was going to make make creations to fix the environment like horizon zero dawn then fuck right off with some people that want to come with.]

Anyway, meeting with John was simple I would repair the boat in exchange I would be payed 500 caps and a ride to the airport.

After inspection the ship is actually a simple fix for me, the boast needs to be re-wired, and the fusion engine would be replaced as it would be a bad idea to just to use that. So to fix that I would be making a battery pack to power the vessel it (in theory) would allow the boat to travel 2-2.5 days on a single charge.

I also plan on hooked up two emergency charging devices, one a hand crack and the other is a water turbine. A a person would drop the thing over the side towards the current or waves which would charge the batteries.

Time wise for completion including scrap runs with the scavengers would probably take about 2 weeks, during those weeks I am going to be finishing up my equipment to move to the airport.
