Chapter 10- Killing Edward Part 2

Crazy, I think as I see Edward charge,the entire camp site utterly destroyed, all the nearby trees wrecked in half, his visage sending chills down my spine.

He's gone completely crazy, I conclude, probably decided to die in this battle, disregarding his own body that is being filled with cracks because of his reckless rampage.

His eyes blood red, seems like he hunted a few humans on the way to power-up, fair enough, after all through the novel and movies we all know how obsessed Edward was with Bella.

I sidestep to avoid his charge, as Edward dives face- first in a boulder,

*Boom*

The boulder goes up in fragments, as I see a hand reaching to crush my face, I grab the hand, trying to remove it from it's socket before I get a solid kick on my face.

"Kach"

The melodious crumbling sound of crystals echoes, as my face falls apart before regenerating.

"Damn" I curse, there's no time to trash talk, otherwise I would just rile him up by speaking about bella, though it will probably be not much effective, as my opponent is running purely on instincts, his only goal being taking me down.

My "Psychic Electrokinesis" barely enough to form a few cracks on his body and the shield is protecting my mind so the telepath can't predict my next attacks.

But something strange is happening to my original gift "Still wave" I can feel it hasn't weakened at all but instead is growing stronger with each passing moment, my mind struggling to keep up with me as I focus on the fight and on my gift, trying to find a way with the highest chance of survival, I haven't been this tensed up after the initial escape from the Cullens.

I mentally sigh, I had grown complacent because of my powers, thinking that I will rule this world eventually, but this is a wake up call for me.

I took a deep breath, though after becoming a vampire there was no need to breathe anymore. My innate abilities growing stronger through my focus, I realised I could steal essence from the target just by being near them.

I smirked, before becoming expressionless, can't let the one arm demon know this, so I started siphoning his essence, bit by bit I grew stronger while the beast didn't realise his own growing weakness in his berserk state, soon I saved enough essence to charge one Electrokinetic wave.

"Zap"

I sent a wave right to his face, thinking of ending this in one shot but the beast had overwhelming speed, he sacrificed his other hand decisively, determined to kill me before dying.

This won't work, I will need his entire essence to escape from here safely, essence siphoning was too slow to support my needs, at this rate i could almost forsee my own end.

The beast kept his distance from me, as my essence reserve was low, I couldn't keep up the shield perfectly, letting him know of my next moves, even "Still Wave" became useless in the current situation, step by step I was falling in disadvantage against an opponent with no hands.

Edward in his berserk state is also aware that he can't kill me, so he is also only delaying time, once the reinforcements come it will be my turn to be dismembered.

The arm less vampire proving to be a better combatant than me, sent a flurry of kicks towards my core and tackled me through one boulder after another, I was in a complete disadvantage against the telepathic hundred year old vampire, his experience in combat far more than me.

"Ugh" I managed to free myself from the beast, launching him into the river, as I finally got an idea, considering the circumstances it might work.

Edward POV

"Kill-Kill-kill him" was the only thing on my mind, kill him and avenge Bella, i finally got to him after all this time, and this time I will kill him, no matter the cost.

Sensing the cracks forms on his mind shield, I barge in, deciphering his fighting pattern, eventually I start overwhelming him, his visage showing his despair probably from sensing the incoming reinforcements, I don't give him much time to ponder attacking him in a frenzy, keen on keeping him here until my family comes ,no matter the cost.

In a moment of carelessness, I overcharge and dive straight in a river, right to the rock bottom, as I thrash to get out, being armless making it much more complicated.

When i finally make it back to the top, my entire body freezes up in shock.

"Bella" I muttered in disbelief.

There she was right in front of me, just as beautiful as the first time I saw her.

Her beautiful dark brown hair complementing her blue eyes, her eyes being my favourite, her cheeks flushed and I almost could smell the scent of her blood , the sound of her heartbeat going off erratically like it would when she's around me.

Without me knowing, I smile, her arms extend towards me.

"Edward, I missed you" She says.

"Wake up"

" She's not real"

"She's already dead"

My mind falling in a tug of war, a part of me wanting to embrace her and another knowing that this is a trap.

"Edward, why aren't you hugging me" She pouts.

Step by step she comes closer, her scent growing stronger assaulting my senses, eventually all that remains in my vision is her face, my mind goes still, seemingly making a decision I raise my arms to embrace her, no longer caring whether this is a trap or not.

Bella gives me a brilliant smile, before embracing me back.

"Kach"

I hear the sound of something shattering, my vision slowly darkens, everything becomes upside down, my head slowly tumbles on the floor, before I look up, gone was Bella , instead there stood Jason, looking down at me in mockery, before he raises his foot and crushes my skull.
