The Necromancer
Kate and Lilly picked themselves up out of the snow. They were sure their eyes were deceiving them. Arora had managed to defeat Miranda who was now on the verge of death. However, this had come at the cost of her entire body turning into a puddle of hot goo. Her bones, flesh, and organs had all melted. It was a horrifying scene.
"No... Arora..." Muttered Kate as her body quivered from shock.
"She managed to defeat Miranda but only at the cost of her own life..!" Stated Lilly sadly.
On the other hand, Karl adjusted his glasses before walking over to Miranda. He looked down at her with a nonchalant expression before giving a bothered sigh.
"You can't be serious, Miranda. You allowed a mere Awakener to get the best of you. That's quite disappointing," he murmured.
Miranda was far too weak to respond. Her throat was quickly being filled with blood and her skin was turning a pale white. She had lost too much blood and would be dead in a matter of seconds if nothing was done.
