A Shocking Discovery
Shade had waited until nighttime to make his move. It had been a total of two hours since he had left the others back at the motel. He had a strong feeling that the mission he was about to undertake was extremely dangerous.
Shade sat patiently by the side of a palm tree which was mostly out of public view. Despite this, he could feel the eyes of those who watched him like the tracing of cold fingers across his back.
He took his time to contemplate what it was that he should do. Since it was now nighttime, fewer players would be walking about. This gave him more freedom to act on whatever choice that he decided on.
Carefully, Shade then picked himself up and moved out into the open. He had decided that he would make the first move since those who were secretly watching him refused to take action.
"One... two... three..." Counted Shade quietly. "A total of three players..."
