"Since when do you trash talk? I guess you have the skill too," I suggested in Dani's direction.
"You're not upset about him leaving? Come on, doesn't that piss you off?!" She asked me loudly.
"Of course, it pisses me off a lot, but there's not a lot of places he gets to run to. Zealous is on lockdown. You sound like me from the Isle Dani, are you okay?" I asked her.
I had to keep a level head here, considering both Avie and Dani were loose on their rage. Understandably so, as all I wanted was to kill Cole and get this over with.
I had forgiven one of my enemies from before, that being Illya, and that was the only planned one. I had no reason to keep her alive. Had Faith not been there, she would've been dead, but without Faith, I would've been dead too. That has to mean something.
That being said, being the only one not filled with untamable rage was taking a toll on the amount of energy in my body. My eyes were purple, and sometimes I slipped, making it feel unstoppable.
"Dani, we need to keep a cool head here. When we get together with Illya, all three of us can go attack Cole, and the rest of Quake," I told her.
As soon as I finished the sentence, The Retriever split Dani and me apart. She saw it, pushing me away with her right hand.
I couldn't even sense it! How good is that Eye of Providence she holds...?
Her right arm was taken off of her body, and between us, a dome-like Alexia's surged and blocked me in. I sat for a moment, observing the weirdly intricate pattern that held it all together. I knew I could quickly dismantle it, but I looked around to see who did it.
It turned out, Alexia was standing on a hill with her left hand out, weaving patterns in and out of the dome, purposefully separating Dani and me.
"SKY! I have all of Quake in here!" She screamed out. My head perked up, looking ahead at the mess of buildings in my way. In less than a second, smoke shot up into the air, the buildings exploded into a mess, luckily contained by the dome, and I was left to my devices in front of an insane amount of smoke, dust, and debris.
"All of Quake huh? Anybody else got eyes on them?" I said to myself. I knew nobody could hear me, but it still gave me peace to say it out loud.
The debris from the buildings, and the height of the dome, all played into the event that the sun was starting to be blocked out, darkening our surroundings, and leaving everything as one big mystery to my vision. As the sun darkened and everything finalized, a quick slash came from my left side.
I was on high alert and tracked the movement with my strands. I was lucky enough to catch it before it reached me, but the power sent me flying back into the edge of the dome.
"Sky! What do you want me to do?!" Dani yelled out from the opposite side.
"Get to Illya, I'll get one of these guys over to you and you can corner them like that," I told her, running into the center of the dome; or at least as far as I could before I was stopped again.
I dodged The Retriever, claws, blades shooting out of the ground, and hands reaching out at me from the ground. I landed on my feet, slid backward, and summoned the golden saber with the Mahina blade in my left hand.
"That girl purposefully trapped you in here with us... do you have any idea how screwed you are now with this open field?" I heard Fico's voice in the dust. The circle around me was cleared away, revealing the four people all staring at me.
Cole, Fico, Austin, and Cynthia...
"It's good to see you again, little brother," She muttered. She didn't have the mask anymore, and therefore, couldn't hide.
"So, you want to kill me now too? It hasn't been that long since you were my loving sister, has it?" I asked her, walking toward her with newfound hatred.
"Kill you? I could never kill my own kin... it's not that simple, I'm afraid I need you alive for the time being," Cynthia explained. I knew her goals conflicted with Quake, based on the way Fico looked at her afterward.
Fico looked extremely weakened, and obviously still didn't have her speed. I didn't know much about her condition, but I could tell it was affecting her performance.
"My sister and I have decided that the Arkians are not worth the time. You will be hurt severely before we take you to Eirikr," Austin explained. He prepared his hands, having blades flex outwards toward me.
"I still owe you a great deal for killing Providence, Asterio," Cole said. I rolled my eyes over to Fico next.
"So... you think four of you is enough to take me? It's too bad Kire and Zeka aren't here, guess they weren't strong enough after all... I've sat here and have taken a lot of shit from you lot," I said.
The dust cleared from the dome after it was ventilated out from the top. However, the sun began to glow dark as the moon inched closer and closer to cover it.
It appeared to be night in the early day, meaning this was a Solar Eclipse happening on my next encounter with Quake.
"I've been holding back my true power with Avie, sorry to say. I just didn't think Quake was worthy of it... but, now that I know the circumstances, now that a large portion of Zealous has been destroyed, now that the bunker, several civilians, and most of the landmasses around here have been affected by your activity, I'm going to have to put an end to it," I told everybody.
