Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Sky VS Quake (3)

After hitting the ground, I came out running, using golden strands to reinforce my muscles, I was speeding past everybody, and placing shallow cuts on their legs first.

My strand control and experience was the only reason I could do this above everybody else. I handed off the abilities Shike, Belle, Alexia, and Boo had, which meant I was left with my own strength.

What kind of strength do I have if I only depend on them?

I came head to head with Kire again, flipping my saber, turning it on in four directions, and kicking it toward his head.

He skillfully grabbed the handle, melted it, and morphed the metal into a javelin. The tip was dripping with more molten metal, and as it whizzed past me, I felt the alert go off in my head.

I instinctively switched with Avie and with her insane speed, she warped to the front of the gate, avoiding a blade created out of the drop of molten metal from Austin's ability.

She rose her foot super high, thanks to my stretchy pants, and slammed her heel into the ground.

Dirt was kicked up and the landscape in front of us changed for about twenty feet in the shape of a cone.

Her speed morphed the dirt as it was blown away, creating a cloud of dust that wouldn't settle.

"It seems that Austin can put blades anywhere he wants to because he didn't touch that javelin, I was watching the entire time. Also, Kire might be able to turn this cloud of dust and dirt into a giant ball of molten droplets if it's what I think it is. The Masked Girl can absorb your body parts and add them to her own, and Cole is pathetically useless here. If I could bash his brains in again, we could shut this fight out and end it all here," Avie said in my mind.

"No... as much as I want to wipe them all out here, the goal is to whittle away their stamina as much as possible. My friends only have Essence Strands, I want all cards to be revealed right now, so they can accurately plan against Quake. I don't actually plan to win here... just to stall until I can see what Kire can do," I said in my mind again, bursting through the cloud of dust and clearing it in a singular second.

My eyes fixated on Kire once more, and I threw my golden saber up in the air, running at him with Mahina's Armament.

"Nervous? Focusing me?" Kire playfully antagonized me as I came at him with the sword, swiping left and right with the strands that formed his saber evaporating and recreating each time.

He heated them up, and after it interacted with Mahina's Armament, it melted the tip.

When Mahina's Armament took damage, it exploded like a bomb with Strands of all colors. White, Red, Purple, and Gold. The color scheme rapidly changed as it exploded and launched Kire back.

With his momentum flying in the sky, the golden saber came down after a while and slammed into his stomach, driving him to the ground. He was restrained, as I held his arms back. I wanted to see if he could melt things with his eyes, so I patiently waited for him to do something.

In the meantime, I turned my head toward the Masked Girl. I didn't even care about damaging her, but I wanted that mask off.

I swiped up at the mask, chipping off the bottom left part of it. It was made of pieces of something that looked like ceramic. As I chopped, it slowly became stronger and stronger, almost becoming impenetrable when I attempted to pierce it.

It's not made of strands... Mahina's Armament would've been able to cut through it.

I dodged a hit, cut her left forearm off, and used Impulse to launch her into the gate. It rattled the entire wall, and still didn't budge the gate.

Cole came in next, striking with The Retriever before using the mace head to block his body from my view.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, observing my surroundings by feeling around with golden strands. They were visualized behind my darkened vision, and I opened my eyes to a purple shade over them.

A slight pain rose from the left side of my head, and I winced, dipping backward with a simple knee bend under Fico's gelatinous claws.

Just like the fight with Providence... that gelatinous substance again.

"Dammit!" Fico called out, backflipping away from me.

Avie switched with me, kicked her knees to dust, and then launched herself straight into the sky.

"I'm taking over, one second!" Avie replied. She used her insane speed to run over to Kire, who was still stuck in the ground and rose her foot high over his head.

I correctly predicted his ability when he used his eyes to launch a beam of red-hot strands straight through my foot. Avie winced in pain, zoomed away, and swapped with me.

I regenerated the wound and stood at a wide range, observing Quake with malice starting to rise up.

The purple shade over my vision was new... I hadn't used Adrenaline Surge yet, but if I had, I think I would be nearing my limit already.

I dropped out of Deity Mode and sat with my regular eyes observing the people in front of me.

"Give up already?" Kire shouted out, melting my saber that was sticking him to the ground.

He walked forward with the Masked Girl, Cole, Austin, and Fico.

Without Deity Mode, this was a lost fight... was what they were thinking.

"Alright, Avie, get me out of here, I have a lot to report back. Send me straight into the forest behind them," I told her. She nodded, switching with me, and placing me in the forest on the southern side of the mountain range that surrounded Zealous.
