Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Sky VS Quake (2)

Quake had finally had enough of my antics, and started to attack all at once.

The Retriever was primed, Kire's beam was lighting up, ready to fire off, and the masked girl's hands were touching the ground.

A ground-intervention ability?

I cut the masked girl's forearms off with golden strands that were intertwined with the ground, and suffered a small wound on my left shoulder as Kire pierced my outfit with the beam of heat.

The Retriever missed me and purposefully tried to pry the gate open, and Fico held claws up through her fingers, which reminded me of Dani's claws.

I caught them with my Mahina Blade, snapped them off, and swung upward at her, cutting a small bit of her hair with my speed and strength.

And if I'm not stupid...

I dodged to the right with a roll and avoided one of Austin's blade attacks coming out of the floor. He clicked his tongue.

"This one is nimble and annoying! Amy, what should I do?" I heard Austin say.

I redirected all effort and attacks toward him, closing the distance as fast as possible, taking him by his throat, and exploding with Golden Strands all over my body.

My eyes were starting to turn red and the shade of red was coming back to my vision.

"Stay calm, Sky," Avie muttered to me.

It was simply white noise at this point as I split him in half, froze his body with Freeze Bind, and used Impulse to cave in his skull toward the ground.

I created a shockwave with the pressure, and the veil of red disappeared. I lost myself for a moment, but in a bout of my most powerful attacks, I put Austin to sleep.

"I have no quarrel with you kid, but you should know not to hurt my friends," Kire said. I picked my eyes up to look at him, and wrapped his body in Golden Strands simply with my will.

Fico tried coming at me, but with even more golden strands coming out from my white stone directly, I pushed her back and threw her away like the garbage she was.

"I'll give you one chance to leave then. I told you, I would at least be killing five of you. You can be the sixth that gets to live," I offered to Kire, slowly walking toward him.

"Sorry, but I get the feeling that I shouldn't let you run amok," He told me, scorching the strands I put around him with his ability.

"Fine by me, just don't hate me later," I told him, instantly breaking my eye contact with him to go attack Cole.

I pushed his Retriever to the side and struck his body with Mahina's Blade, then with my Golden Saber, then with my elbow.

"You know attacking me doesn't do shit, so why do it?" He asked me.

Cole hit my wrist with the handle to his large flail roaming around his body, and I smiled.

"You're a breeding ground to this powerhouse," I smiled at him, turning around once more, and launching Impulse off at The Masked Girl.

The projectile strands shredded her thin armor and everything besides her mask, which she put extra effort into keeping unscathed. I shrugged it off, and kept my eyes focused on Fico explicitly.

"Your teamwork is terrible. The fact I've only been hurt by the one I respect the most out of you lot is disappointing. I've been preparing for nothing," I said to Quake.

"It's only to whittle away your stamina," Fico said with a smile.

"Whittle away my stamina? I'm not even a tenth of a way to my limit," I told her.

"Do you think I'm talking to you?" Fico asked me. She strummed a strand like a guitar string with a vicious smile, perfectly predicting my plan to stall them here.

I wasn't sure if they were able to read minds within their ranks. I know Genesis was involved with them, seeing as he's been plotting my entire direction in moving forward since the day I woke up on the Isle. Illya provided more evidence when she mentioned how Cole 'somehow' took the other Eye of Providence out of The First Trial.

All of these things coalesce to say that Genesis was involved, and his mind-reading ability I know about could be in use here. I've completely avoided the thought and the plan that was ennacted.

From the other side of the walls, Illya is constantly using her Incarnation to shut off Quake's Abilities accordingly so I'm not vaporized by everything happening all at once. Zeka has been cut off and shut down completely, and Fico is currently being wrapped in that Incarnation that shuts off all strands. She can't fly to Eirikr to alert him, she can't use her abilities, she has been completely shut down.

All at Illya's plan.

I charged once more, but this time, it was different. Every ability was starting to go off at once, which meant the fight with Zeka on the inside of Zealous was finally beginning.

I slashed at Cole first, but his mace head came in from the side. The armor plating underneath my clothing took a fatal hit for me, but the mace head sprouted in blades that impaled me over ten times.

I winced in pain as they heated up to an insane temperature, turning into molten metal as I pulled every single one out of my body, and by the time I hit the ground, the Masked Girl was behind me with her hands raised.

Let's take a chance then...

I willingly cut off my left arm with my golden saber and let the Masked Girl touch it. Upon observing her ability, I realized that she completely evaporated my arm, absorbing the strands in it, and then sprouting it off of her body.

Son of a bitch... what an ability!

I slid and created more distance behind me, using Freeze Bind to constantly transfer heat from the melting ground into my saber.

When I collided with Cole's Mace Head and The Retriever, I melted through them with the insane temperatures. I summoned wings on my back and with short bursts of the muscles on my back, I narrowly avoided Austin's Blades before they could touch me.

This was an all-out assault on Quake, and I had to fight them all with every ability they had in stock.
