Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Orion VS Nova (2)

"Sky Asterio won't forgive you, Orion. No matter what you do... kill me, kill my daughter... he'll hate you for the rest of your life and for the rest of his. Do you know why?! Because that's what ALL Asterios do! They're the scum of the Earth, you know that! I don't understand why you don't wisen up and just kill them all with me," Nova told me.

"You think I want to redeem myself? Do you think I even wanted to come back to life? Sky Asterio defeated me, fair and square, and for your own selfish reasons, you stole my soul before I was able to pass to the other world. Hell, Heaven, no matter what it be, it was my right to be delivered there after my defeat, and you stopped that. You played God with my soul, so I'll use my second chance to show you what a mistake that is," I told her.

I kicked her door down and revealed a simple-looking house. A small kitchen on the right, and stairs leading upwards right in front of me, about six steps from the door.

"What a nice home... so reminiscent of mine," I said, walking further in.

"You think it's a mistake?! We all have one purpose in this life, and it's to make sure the evil doesn't rise out of the shithole we buried it in. And it is! That evil beat you because you're so weak, Orion, and now you're trying to fight me?! What an ignorant, lost soul!" Nova screamed out to me.

"What, and you're so good? Eternias aren't guilty of anything at all? I'm not an idiot, Nova, I know all of our lineages are terrible people, so tell me what makes Eternias so much better than Asterios? Do you think you're immune just because you're not an Asterio?!" I screamed out of her house.

I began to walk up the steps inclined at a sharp angle near the entrance to her house, and she must've heard me.

She ran up the porch at blistering speeds and grabbed onto my body, pushing off of the supports of the stairs, and tackling us both out of the house and down the steps.

I kicked her in the face on the way down and the back of her head hit the corner of her porch.

Making herself look weak to lower my guard... not a bad idea...

"That's exactly why! We're not Asterios… we're better! Stronger! Yet you want to fight me!" She screamed at me with a bloodied nose.

I picked up my sword that had fallen out of the staff and held it beside my hip yet again, walking over to Nova and swinging it.

She back-stepped and clicked her tongue, moving away and looking annoyed.

Just like Sky did, she held out her hand and the staff came back to her, which she used to collide with the side of my body. Her strength had increased tenfold now, and the look in her eyes was starting to turn purple.

When I fought Sky, he had a definable red color in his irises... but something I couldn't see until I was too close was the purple color of the strands flowing in his eyes... that color in his eyes, is reminiscent of what is in Nova's eyes.

I smiled, knowing they were somehow connected. With the same abilities in hand and the same purple strands connecting them, Nova most likely had a ton of the same abilities as Sky.

I went for a stabbing motion with my sword to see if she had the deflecting one...

When the sword tip collided with her staff, she slid it back and then put her White Stone near the tip of my sword.

I dropped to the ground and let go of the sword before it launched backward, and kicked her in the stomach. I was aiming my heel toward her intestines, and after it collided, the deflection never went off.

I caught the sword in my left hand, used my hand to reposition my body off of the ground, and swung from the ground up with the dull tip of my sword.

It wasn't by much, but a portion of the sharp blade caught onto Nova's face and tore a bit of skin upwards on her cheek, right over her eye.

It, unfortunately, wasn't cut out, but I got super close.

She isn't invincible... what was everybody else talking about?

I jumped toward her again, landing on her staff as she tried to swing it at me, I planted it into the ground, flipped over the next hit, and then cut her chest next.

Nova was backed into the porch yet again, and I stabbed into it, dulling the tip of my sword even more.

This isn't a sword like what we had on the Isle... this shit was dull and terrible at its one job.

I feinted an attack and punched her in the face again, tearing at the skin over her forehead that I cut open. She screamed out in pain and jammed her finger deep into my left eye. It felt like she touched the back of my eye socket.

"HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?!" She screamed out.

This girl was delusional...

She grabbed onto any extremity she could, my ear, which she ripped off of my head, my nose, which she bit the tip of, and even tried for my tongue.

I shook her off and kicked her in the stomach seven times until she threw up a chunky liquid.

While her guard was down, I planted my heel into the back of her head, and her face planted into that chunky liquid while sobbing.

"I hope you were pregnant, bitch," I spat on the top of her head and walked up her porch again, looking to kill her daughter.

I took the steps slowly and looked toward the window above me, watching Mizu's eyes trace my movement underneath her.

"Oh... she is up there... isn't that scary, Nova? Knowing somebody is going to brutally murder your child, and you can't do anything about it?" I asked her, taking the walk up the stairs inside her house.
