Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Khalil Leyndell

With Dani taking care of Cole, Sky looked at me with those purple, Deity-like eyes, and a golden saber shimmering in his hand.

"Providence is Cole's Mom from four hundred years ago. He's a Pure Achamo like you're a Pure Asterio. He's powerful... be careful, please," I told him.

Sky nodded, turning his body again, and covering himself in golden strand armor, and rushing in right behind Dani.

"What the hell was that? He kept you as a hostage in there?" Fudo asked me as we got to cover. He set me down and started to ask a ton of questions.

"I don't know what happened in that month since Quake came, but it seems like Cole changed... he's been running this entire time... but it's like he's overconfident. He told me a lot about Sky, a lot to try and make him seem bad, but he also told me some worrying things about his lineage... he has powers to rival Sky, yet he's not using them!" I told Fudo a little louder than I should.

"Woah! Are you talking into a microphone or what?" I heard a very deep, prominent voice over a small hill behind us. Fudo drew his weapon and I picked up a golden saber, looking ahead at the person who started to walk over to Fudo and me.

He was wearing black robes and was very muscular. His dark skin fit well with the black robes, and he walked in a steady stride with two people behind him.

"And here I was, just doing my routine checks... so, what's going on here?" The man said, looking at all of the destroyed scenery.

"Who are you...?" Fudo had the courage to ask. The man turned to look down at him and then shot out a little look of surprise.

"Gosh, where are my manners? Greetings, my name is Khalil Leyndell. This is Scovia Heartshell and Harry Leyndell. Harry is my brother, and I'm the leader of the American Continents. My damn radio broke, and I was just patrolling to see if I could get some help from Ultima's Lackeys... but I see something else is happening here," Khalil said. He leaned against the black katana on his hip and looked toward the building that just fell.

"I'm Fudo Achamo, and this is Alexia Asterio," Fudo said. I hit him in the arm, fearing that my last name would ruin the both of us. Khalil shot his stern glance down toward me specifically, squinting his eyes while looking at my golden saber.

"I'll be damned... I haven't seen an Asterio in such a long time... and never one in person! Tell me, are you somehow related to Sky Asterio? Sister? Brother? Mother? Daughter?!" Khalil started to pry, but not in the discriminatory nature that everybody else treated me with.

"You're... not mad with me?" I nervously asked, standing up on both feet and setting the saber down, letting it disappear into Strands.

"Mad with you... for what, exactly? Because you're an Asterio? No, miss, I don't discriminate against anybody. Everybody is the same to me unless you've proven otherwise. Your last name doesn't dictate your actions," Khalil told me. I was honestly shocked... and pleased to see that somebody is an ally to Sky.

"Wow... you're the first I've met... if you don't mind me asking, why?" I had a curious nature that Khalil was obviously studying right now.

"From my land, there is no discrimination. We're all kind people, and I stay true to my nature. It's unfortunate, but most other World Leaders aren't like me. There's one more, but she's pretty far from here. So, can you please tell me what's going on here?" Khalil asked us.

"A group named Quake is here... to destroy Sky Asterio... will you help us?!" I eagerly asked, but Khalil shook his head before I could finish.

"I don't interfere in conflicts. This, unfortunately, isn't my problem. I will heal the sick if necessary, but I will have no part in fighting against this, 'Quake' group. Now, I'm curious. Does that ruin your image of me?" Khalil turned his head away from me and instead asked Fudo.

"No... I understand, to a point. You're not the leader of this Continent... you're the leader of America. I assume the same rules would apply to us if we came to visit you? We wouldn't help you and your conflict," Fudo hastily replied. It seemed rude, but it got a hearty chuckle from Khalil.

"Hahaha! I like you, kid! You're right. We're isolationists, so we don't interfere at all or take sides. I only heal the injured. May I meet Sky Asterio? Or is he busy with this Quake?" He asked.

"Hey! Um... my brother and his girlfriend had left for a place with that girl you mentioned earlier, Ultima... they're not back, and I want to make sure they're okay. Please, if you want to heal anybody, go to them! We have it handled here!" I told Khalil.

With his arms crossed and his two friends behind him, he scanned around Zealous, then looked back at me. He was at least half a foot taller than me... his height was crazy.

"All of this city is in ruin. So many things need repair, like that building right there... and you care about your friends? Isn't that pretty selfish, even for an Asterio?" Khalil asked. My gaze was warped hearing him talk like that.

"Hahah! I'm just kidding! You're a noble girl, Alexia. It's impressive you have things handled here... even if it sort of looks terrible. I understand that part of a fight is the mess you clean up, so I'll leave this to you. However, I will be back to have a conversation with Sky Asterio when he is done, so please make sure he survives. Now, this city, Ultima Tower I assume... it would be..." Khalil looked curious, lifting his head up and pushing it toward his brother Harry.

"Due East," Harry explained.

"Great, excellent," Khalil said. He picked up his radio to toss it into the air, giving us thanks, and attempting to leave.

"Wait... that's it? Let me see your radio, please," Fudo said.

Khalil appeared curious again and threw his radio toward Fudo. With a simple twist on the side and the antenna being pulled, it started to static as it worked again.

"Wow! Look at that... be kind to your neighbor, and he shall be kind to you," Khalil said. He put his hands together, deeply bowed, and threw Fudo his katana.

"I will take a look, Alexia. Harry, Scovia, let's go," He said. He snapped his fingers, and the three walked off to the east.

Had he helped us in this fight... I had a feeling he would've easily stopped the threat.
