Cohabitation

As we settled into our new home, tensions between Milo and Dan continued to simmer. Despite Dan's promises of honesty and transparency, I could tell that Milo still had doubts.

While Dan was out on business one evening, Milo and I enjoyed a quiet night watching a movie in the living room. As we sat there, Milo turned to me, his expression serious.

"Amy, I don't trust Dan," he said, his voice low. "I think he's hiding something from us, and I'm afraid it could be dangerous."

I leaned into Milo, feeling the warmth of his body next to mine. "I know how you feel, but we can't jump to conclusions," I said, trying to soothe his worries.

Milo shook his head. "I can't shake this feeling, Amy. I need to do some investigating of my own."
