After his relatives returned Harry got back to his room at Dursley's, but before that he managed to convince aka mind tricked Mrs. Figg into giving him some wizard magazines. He was still seething in anger at Dumbledore but had calmed down his anger enough to channel his anger productively. He took a look at the magazines he had got and there were two of them, Witches Weekly and Quibbler. He also has gotten his hands on few recent issues of the prophet but the articles in it were not much informative, most of them were gossips and few were downright defamation articles written by some Rita Skitter.
Still he carefully read each one of them to glean any bit of information useful to him. After some searching he found a article by a new researcher in quibbler which discussed about platinum having high magical conductivity but as of now it has no use for him so he just took it for later experiments.
TIMESKIP : 1 MONTH
After another month there was tremendous boost to this psychic powers growing speed because he actively pushed magic toward the psychic core but there was still no progress in his magical powers so Harry decided to take risk of going to Diagon Alley to get some books and pay a visit to Gringotts.
Next Morning Harry got some money from his uncle and then took a bus to Charring Cross where Leaky Cauldron was located. After wandering around for 5 minutes a old pub with rusted sign hanging at the door was found by him. After making use of his powers to make everyone ignore his age, he stepped into the back of the pub and then open the way by tapping the bricks in the required sequence. Although Mrs. Figg could not open the wall, she had seen it done many times so she knew the sequence which Harry was all too happy to get.
Entering the magical alley while keeping up the ignore field, his first destination was the leaning white marble building at one end of the street. At the door there were two ferocious goblin carrying spears on both side. On the arch of the door the warning Poem was written –
Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn,
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.
He didn't pay much attention to the poem and entered the door to see rows of goblins on both sides along the wall providing various services. Not dawdling he asked one of the goblins and got to the pointed desk.
HARRY: Hello, I would like to enter my vault.
TELLER : Name?
HARRY: Harry Potter.
The goblin paused then peered over the deskbefore asking.
TELLER : And does Mr. Harry Potter have the vault key.
HARRY : Umm.... NO, but can't I get new key. Like they do in muggle banks.
TELLER : We can do that but it costs 5 Galleons and if Mr. Potter can not prove his identity, results may not be likable.
The Goblin replied while showing his sharp teeth with a cruel expression. Harry shivered a little but nodded his head. Then the goblin replied with a little disappointment at not successfully scaring the little wizard.
TELLER : Okay, Follow me.
Then the goblin led him through the door behind his desk to a corridor with doors on both sides. After walking after meters they stopped at a door labeled 'Inheritance'. After knocking they were called in, inside was another goblin wearing white robes and leaf crown. The room was not big with a desk and chairs in the middle with two sofas on both sides along the wall. The robed goblin observed them for a few moments before asking.
ROBE GOBLIN : Battleaxe! What's the matter.
The now named Battleaxe reported with respect, the request of Harry for the new key.
BATTLEAXE : Sir Grimclaw, this young wizard claims to be Harry Potter and wants to issue a new key for his vaults.
GRIMCLAW : OK, You can return to your desk now.
After Battleaxe exits the room Grimclaw focuses his attention on Harry.
GRIMCLAW : OK then Mr. Potter, to reissue the key it would require 5 drops of your blood and 5 Galleons as fees. Do you want to proceed.
Harry nodded in affirmation, then Grimclaw took out a black bowl with golden edges, a metallic quill and a parchment. He told Harry to prick his finger with the quill and then put 5 drops of his blood into the bowl . Harry did so but not before coating the quill with his psychic power. He had got many stories of goblin treachery from Mrs. Figg's mind.
After the last drop reached the bowl there was a flash of light and the blood turned into golden color. Grimclaw poured the golden liquid on the parchment then murmured some things before golden lines started wiggling on the parchment before forming words. Soon the parchment was filled with golden text.
