Shocking news

Walking into the house, my grandmother was sitting down on her usual Rocky chair with her knitting tools beside her. A day doesn't go by without her knitting a sweater which were mostly for me.... The two men sat at the other corner of the room, they both looked old but strikingly handsome. They both had blonde hair, someone could mistake them as twins except they both had different skin color

One had a lightpale skin while the other looked tan.....

my grandmother coughed drifting my attention back to her.

" Yes grandma" I smiled at her.

" We need to talk dear" she said with a heavy sigh..... well that can't be good I thought in my head

" Well my dear you will be attending a new school called Cosgrove in the east of Europe".

I looked at my grandma with wide eyes trying to understand what she meant by that.

" I don't understand" I told her

" Well you have been given a scholarship to a school named Cosgrove academy, am sure you will love it there and make new friends".

She said it as if it was that easy .

It took a life time for me to make the one friend I had. People always thought I was a freak because I could see things that they couldn't.

" So is that all " I said swallowing back my sob that was about to tear out and then she said the most unbelievable words

" You are not human, Chanel" I tried to understand what she was saying but it was not making sense

" What do you mean, if you just want to scare me into going to the school it's working" I told her with a shaky voice.

" Your father Marcus, was a very brave man.A vampire Lord and feared by others

He was next inline for the throne but his half brother Malcolm was jealous. At that time the vampires were the leaders of the supernatural world no one had dared to cross them, but your father wanted equality between them unlike his brother who reeked havoc. Malcolm never wanted peace and was against his brother, he wanted the vampires to be in command of all and to be feared so he decided to go rogue and left.

He left with some vampires to fight against his brother for the throne and his raged had consumed him giving him more power and also with the old royal blood he had. Marcus knew he was not going to be able to defeat Malcolm so instead he had gathered all the leaders with different supernatural powers . Each gave him little of their powers in other for him to be strong enough to defeat his brother.

Marcus couldn't kill his own brother so instead he locked him in a tomb and made sure that only his blood could awaken him. All the other vampires that had followed Malcolm were killed ." She said while sobing

I never knew I was also crying until I felt the tears on my legs.

" Ok then what about my mother" I asked

" Well with time you will get to know " she said with a faint smile.

This must be all a joke I thought she must just be joking....then I remembered what had happened in the grocery store but shook the thought away...

" So why tell me now, you could have told me she's ago but why now..." I asked feeling a little paranoid

" I know you have been having dreams dear, which means you have started to discover your power and before you do I need you to learn more about them first "

Of course now everything made sense , that's why she never wanted me out of the house.

As I climbed the stairs to my room my head was spinning so we soon as my body made contact with my bed , I drifted off into darkness.
