Road trip

My grandmother pushed open the door to my room allowing the light to leak inside , I had to blink multiple times for my eyes to adjust to the light.

I can't remember how long I slept but it made me stay here longer

" You need to leave now dear" I lifted up my eyes to my grandmother's face

I could tell she had been crying probably since I was asleep

" This isn't fair" I told her trying to hold back my tears

" I know, but you just have to be strong"

" I don't want to leave you all by yourself grandma" I tried pleading with her

" It's alright dear, now remember when you get there trust no one and do not tell anyone who you are" she said with a faint smile

Standing up from the bed I took the black leather bag beside me thinking of how I would have to start my life over again

Worst of all I didn't even get to say goodbye to my best friend, am sure she's going to hate me.

I walked towards the living room, the two men were already standing probably waiting for us

" Are you ready mis"one of the men said which I answered with a nod

They both began to move outside towards the car

Turning back I looked at my grandma who was still standing on the stairs I gave her a sad smile before making my way to the car

Sitting in the car, I turned to look at my grandma one last time as the car engine reared dragging back my attention to the two men who now sat in the car with me.

" Here you go"one of the men tossed a book at me

" So you won't get bored " he said smiling which I returned.

The book was slightly heavy with a big symbol on front. It looked quite familiar but I couldn't remember how

The book was a bit hard to open apparently it had some magical lock and the other guy who hadn't said much helped me to open it .

The first page was a drawing of a man standing with a crown on his head and red eyes

At the bottom it said

"Nicolas dragomir II of Cosgrove"

The man looked quite aged and powerful and then something happened, it was as if he was staring back at me which was scary . The next page was an image of a castle, it was huge and built with stone like those ancient castles in Merlin .oh I loved that series me and Hailey my best friend would wait till 10 at night just to watch it. Bringing back my attention to the image, there was a writing under it

" Cosgrove academy"

Holy cow the image was the academy. The academy looked like an elite prep school everything screamed of money and power. The next few pages showed more images, the hostels were more like a luxurious hotel than an actual hostel while the cafeteria looked like a five star restaurant. The academy looked like a place where rich kids would attend, if I hadn't known it was a school for supernaturals I would have it was the normal rich snobbish kind of school. I opened afew more pages but before I knew it I fell asleep.

When I woke up I was under a gigantic tree which was weird, I looked around for any sign of the two men I was with. Suddenly there was a shadow of a woman wearing white but her back was turned to me

I tried calling out but couldn't

" Chanel"

I heard my name but didn't know where it was coming from

" Chanel"

Suddenly I was dragged out by some force

"Hey are you alright" I heard one of the men saying meaning I was was just dreaming.

Suddenly there was a loud thump on top of the. Vehicle which made me hit my head at the side of the car. Then something big and huge pushed the car which made it swirled to the other side of the road.

I was pulled out of the car by one of the men

" Incoming " he shouted, wrapping his big arm around my body. I couldn't see who or what was fighting I was just focusing on trying to breath because I couldn't believe what was going on

" Stay here and stay down , if any thing move you hold out this blade to it and the name is sabastian" he said before sprinting off to where the fight was.

I held the blade tight like my life depended on it which it actually does

I turned to the direction sabastian ran towards, it was like they were fighting with shadows they were too fast for me to see and I could tell it wasn't a fair fight

Sabastian and his partner were fighting off about six guys, then I saw sabastian tearing out one of the attackers heart which made me feel sick

" Hello dear mmmmmmm.....you smell good" someone behind me said

I could hear my heart beat already and i tried to move but my feet wouldn't then I remembered what sabastian told me

As I was about to turn with the blade , he held my hand and dragged me up till I was dangling on the air..... This is it am going to die

" You smell different little girl , who are you" he said bringing his sharp teeth close to my neck

The smell coming from him made me want to throw up but I couldn't and he had an irritating scar across his face

" Chanel" I heard sabastian shouting my name but I could not turn " till we meet again princess" the man dropped me to the ground while he disappeared into the forest

I never knew I was still shaking on the ground until sabastian crouched down and held me whispering in my ear that it was ok but then I passed out.
