Day Two On Their Way Home

It was six in the morning when the guys started out for home on day two, they all filled their gas tanks and got snacks. While Dean was waiting to fill up baby he noticed something strange on the ground in the yard next to where he was parked. Whatever it was moved so he decided to take a closer look. Just then two young girls walked out of the house. They also saw the thing move, when it started to sprout arms and legs they both turned around and ran back in the house. Dean called Sam, Ketch, and anyone else close by to come join him. Several hunters came running. They watched as the leach looking thing started growing arms and legs. One of the hunters actually turned and threw up as the head started to form. It started out as a small blob, then it started to get longer. Sam noticed the fur sprouting all over the thing so he ran over to baby and pulled out a silver machete blessed and dipped in holy water. Then before the thing was able to stand Sam went over and hacked it to bits. When he was done the two girls and their parents came out onto the porch.

The father walked down the stairs and went over to give the thing a closer look.

"Does someone want to tell me what I just saw? I have seen werewolves before and they never grew like that. What the Hell guys, and I am guessing by all the hardware that your all hunters. This town is normally quiet but lately not so much. What do I need to know?"

"So your a hunter then?"

"Yes sir, actually I was a retired hunter till about six months ago. Sorry my name is Nick and that is my wife Lisa. You sorta met our girls Amber and Christy. Sorry I tend to ramble a bit, But then monsters started showing up just about over night. After what we just saw it makes sense now. But how is that possible?"

"Can we go inside and talk about this?"

"Yes, I'm sorry come on in. I am sure my wife would like to know what we are up against as well. Yes she is a hunter as well. The girls are to young but they know things are out there."

After Bobby,Sam,and Dean walk into the house the other men got things cleaned up and headed back out again.

"Okay so what do we need to know? Why is this going on? And what the hell was that?"

"To be honest we are not sure what it was. That is the first one we have seen. But we can tell you that monsters and demons are both being used as well as eaten by someone called Cronos. Yes you heard me correctly they are being eaten by Cronos. We can't give you details because we don't know any. We are pretty much in the dark right now. All we know is strange monsters are showing up. They are also very hungry.

What we can tell you is Silver that is blessed and coated in holy water seems to kill everything. Then make sure you burn it afterward. We will try to answer any questions you might have."

"Well the only question I have is how can we help?"

"Don't be an IDJIT, don't put yourself or your family in anymore danger than you have to man. Protect your family and your town but leave it at that."

"Well when you put it like that then I guess we have no choice. But I'm not happy with sitting back and waiting for them to come to me."

" Dude no hunter is ever happy with waiting for a monster to come to them. Give me your email and phone number and we will keep you updated as we learn things. And here is our numbers, call if you need anything."

As the adults start out the door Sam is knocked over by something. Nick hit a button next to the door bell and the door closed and locked. The Windows closed and locked as well.

"We have twenty minutes to hit the button again before every hunter in town gets here."

"AWESOME, now watch out. Sammy get to the weapons. Bobby behind you. Lisa move ones dropping from the roof."

Sam gets to the car and gets as many machetes as he can carry. He gets them passed out and the go to work. Lisa ends up back to back with Dean. They are both hacking away at the thing that dropped from the roof. Bobby hacks up one that almost grabbed his leg. Sam took out one that was partially changed into a vampire. Nick destroyed one that was also partially changed into a werewolf. Just as they thought they were done a fully transformed Jefferson Starship came around the corner of the house, Lisa took off its arm as Dean took off its head. They all stood waiting for a minute but nothing more happened. Then other cars started showing up. men and women got out and came to see what was going on. The boys and Nick gave them an update and they checked the creatures out. Once everyone had a look around they headed out so they could check out the rest of the town.

Once Nick released the lock down on the house Lisa went in to check on the girls. After the all clear was givin the boys decided to head out to catch up with their group.
