Chapter 2: New Hero

As the robbers were trying to leave. The police showed up and demanded the robbers to put their hands in the air.

Sam: „I got this" and as he said that he fired his rocket launcher at the police. In that moment I showed up and destroyed the rocket with my heat vision. I ran towards the robbers and knocked both of them out by hitting them in the jaw. I obviously held back a lot as I didn't want to kill them. As soon as I knocked them out, a Hero came out of the shadows named Darkwing.

Darkwing: „Tell me what happened here".

Police officer: Oh Darkwing you scared me for a second there, we don't know who stopped those two robbers cause he moved too fast that we couldn't see him, the only thing we could recognize was a Blur.

Darkwing: a Blur?

I returned to the farm in the blink of an eye. As my clothes burned due to the speed and I didn't want them to see me nude which would have been pretty awkward.

I then gave flying a second attempt which almost succeeded as I levitated just above the ground but again fell to the ground. I tried again but concentrated harder which worked as I levitated higer than before and started flying. It was difficult to control at first but as time went on flying felt as natural as running. It took 2 whole days to master flying. In those 2 days I didn't eat or sleep as I didn't feel hungry or tired at all instead I felt completely full due to the constant energy I get from the sun.

More and more people started talking of the new Hero who appeared and was constantly saving lives.

News Reporter: I think by now everyone might have heard of the new Hero who people started calling Superman, as he leaves an S symbol every time he saves someone without showing his face. So the question remains who is Superman?

It feels so refreshing saving people without being in real danger. I closed my eyes and allowed my senses to take over. Sounds could be heard from all directions. I noticed that if I focused really hard I could even hear leaves falling from a tree, but then I picked up onto one conversation.

„Let's go. We got her."

"Now let's bring her to the boss."

I put on an oversized black hoodie and black jeans.I then flew in that direction. I watched from above the clouds. A black Sedan sped down the street turning onto the highway. I used my x-ray vision to see the inside of the car. In the car were two thugs and in the back of the car was a beautiful young woman with orange hair. She was dressed in a pink skin tight suit. I recognised here she is atom eve. Her hands and legs were bound together, and she was unconscious.

The car eventually stopped at an abandoned construction zone.Before I flew down I scanned the entire building and saw an underground facility underneath the building. I hit both of them in the jaw but they didn't fall unconscious so I scanned them with my x-ray vision and saw that both of them were genetically enhanced. So they were many times stronger and more durable than regular humans.

Thug 1: Ahh Who was that?

Thug 2: Ahh fuck I don't know someone's here. Come out and fight like a man you coward.

I came flying down and told them to step away from the car which they obviously did not.

Thug 1: Look kid if you know what's best for you than you better leave now.

As soon as he said that I flew towards him and gave him a punch to the gut. However I underestimated my strength as I punched a hole right trough him.Blood splattered everywhere and his friend was shocked and tried running away but it was futile as I was already in front of him. He tried begging for his life but I decapitated him on the spot. I then used my heat vision to incinerate their corpses until there was nothing left of them.

I picked the girl out of the car and placed her on the ground.
