Mysterious Place, Mysterious Pool

He quietly walked to the pool before Sensing something. He frowned at first, then after the frowning, a smile crept to his face.

This was amazing!

The Mana around the pool is so dense that that place was giving off a transparent light blue glow. At first glance, one might not be able to sense anything, but if the person came close and take a more deep and concentrated gaze, that person would be able to see the blue glow.

Leo vaguely loved the feeling of dense mana on his body.

'is that the only thing that makes it special, am sure it's not it...if it's not it, then what? I hope that I will find out more as time passes bye' Leo said still walking to the pool.

The pool was about thirty meters away from him.

After walking for about three meters, Leo started sensing pressure acting upon him, making things difficult for him.

Seeing this Leo now knew that this is not going to be easy, not a single bit easy. But why should he care, he had faced much worse things already why should he care about the increased gravity and pressure?

Gritting his teeth, he continued to walk towards the pool.

As he continued to walk towards that destination the pressure increased, at this point, Leo has already know that; under this kind of pressure, rushing things is not helpful...not a single bit.

He walked Seven meters before things became hard for him at this point...

Seeing the sudden notification, Leo's heart thumped wildly in excitement.

'Is this another effect? I can't wait to see more...just walking to the pool is already given me this, then just how many things would I receive when I reach the pool' Leo was filled with great expectations, expecting more from the pool.

As a human being, it was only natural that he is greedy, vaguely wanting for more, not getting satisfied. That's a human being for you.

So with that in mind, he stilled his heart and determination even further and continued to walk to the pool of water.

He started getting that same notification with every meter he walked

after walking for another thirteen meters, which when added to his first walk which is seven would be that he had walked twenty meters,

After walking for the additional thirteen meters, Leo got thirteen stats point added, to his strength and agility stats.

With every notification, Leo continued to become even more excited,

He just needs to continue to walk the ten meters before he reaches the pool

Soon it became hard for him to walk, and he started walking in what seemed to be slow motion...all this was because of the increased pressure. Even though his strength and agility increased with every meter he walked, the pressure increased even many times bigger than his stat, making things very hard for him.

With his eyes glued on the unknown and unseen reward Leo continued to walk towards the pool, he did not care how slow he was, getting there is his mission and he will continue to walk there even if he moves like a snail.

He walked and walked, soon it remained five meters for him to reach the pool, the Mana he could feel right now was kind of refreshing, it is even more refreshing than the feeling Leo usually feels after leveling up, it was refreshing his body and soul.

Leo continued to walk, that feeling increasing with his every step.

Soon Leo reached the pool of water, it was as clear and transparent as a new glass. Leo could see everything that was underneath the Water.

What he saw that was in the water shocked him, In the water, there was sand, But the sand there was illuminating the whole water, the tiny sand where shining, Leo did not know why but he knew this had something to do with Mana.

Right now, he felt so refreshed, all the pain in his body disappeared leaving no clue, Leo knew why this is happening...it was the pool.

He wanted to enter and relax for a while, but after seeing the blue light in the water that was caused by the sand, he hesitated.

'Enter!'

'...!?'

Hearing the familiar voice Leo was now shocked, but hearing it voice Leo did not think too much about it and quickly entered.

he entered the water slowly, he felt that this water is special, so he is afraid of splashing the water, thereby wasting it.

As Leo lay on the water, the force in the water acted on him, and he came up, afloat.

Gravity doing its work on him. An overwhelming sense of energy came over him, then...

he started sensing his left hand, he subconsciously took a glance at it. And when he did he regretted it.

A red vein-like substance sprouted from his shoulder going down to his wrist then his fingers. Covering all this was the light blue, transparent color of Mana.

All the injuries on his body healed up, and the sores that were here and there were all gone too.

Leo felt so refreshed and rejuvenated right now, He started thinking, that this would be a good time to ask the system the question that are bothering him.

He tried to vaguely sense the system/crystal through their link, he sensed it, but why has the system been quiet lately?

The system could sense his emotions during the fight, but still, it did not tell him a single word, and just right now, it came out of nowhere telling him to enter the pool. That's not even what was worrying him most.

What is currently worrying him right now was the fact that 'Leo' was related to all this.

The system first said that I am the one that put the restriction on it, but I don't even know how...just how and where I became connected to this.

Preparing his heart for the worst answer, Leo immediately asked the System.

'Uhm, crystal you have been acting kind of suspicious lately, so what do you have to say...uh?'

'...'

Leo waited for an answer but after ten seconds the system have not even answered yet.

After about a minute, he heard the long-awaited sigh of the system, before hearing his unique monotonous voice.

'I have nothing to say as of now, you will have to get the answer yourself after you're strong enough!'

He could distinctively hear its mocking tone, Leo upon hearing this clenched his hands tightly.
