Chapter 22: Got accepted.

Sabo showed them the hideout design. They collect the material from the Gray Terminal and starts working on the hideout. Rin have been coming frequently from the village to help them.

= Weeks Later =

They finished building the hideout.

"Awesome! Looks exactly like the design! Luffy said.

"Great work if I say so myself!" Sabo look at Ace who is staring at the hideout. "What's wrong, Ace?"

"This is a hideout so we gotta set up some traps!" Ace said.

"Okay I'll think about it." Sabo said.

"Alright! Since the hideout is done when do you wanna fight?" asked Ace.

"How about today?" asked Rin.

"Sure."

Ace still doesn't treat nicely Rin but at least he doesn't glare like he'll kill her like before. They set up everything needed for the fight.

"Before fighting I'll repeat the rules. First one to get knock out or first one to give up lose. No weapons and you can't get out of the fighting space. That's all." Rin stated.

"Okay." Ace said.

"So I'll count from three then starts the fight." Sabo said. "3... 2... 1!"

Ace launch forward ready to throw his right fist at Rin's face. Rin step to the side, catches Ace's right fist, turn it by the shoulder, fold it to his back and kick the back of his knee. All happened in a instant.

"W-what!! What kind of move is that!!" Ace shouts.

In her previous world Rin learned self defense for fun. This is one of the self defense move that she found on the internet.

Rin smiled. "Secret." Rin said while still holding Ace down.

"You said the first one to get knock out or give up lose, I'm not gonna give up and you can't hit me without letting me go." Ace said.

"You sure?" Rin said as she raise her left hand and do an instant knockout at Ace's neck. Ace instantly pass out.

"W-wait! Is he okay?!" Sabo said worriedly.

Rin let go of Ace. "Yeah. He's fine. He'll wake up in a few hours most. Now help me pick him up but try not to touch his neck." Rin stands up and starts picking Ace up with Luffy and Sabo.

They slowly bring Ace up the tree and inside the hideout. They put Ace down on a mattress and put a blanket on him.

"Does this means Rin won?" Luffy asked.

"Looks like it. Guess this means your one of us now." Sabo said.

Rin smiled and said "Please take care of me, then."

Few hours later, Ace woke up and reluctantly accept his lost.

' He really doesn't want to admit that he lost. He still doesn't like me huh... but it looks like he at least acknowledged my ability when it comes to fighting. Good thing Ace only knows how to fight with brute strength, I got the upper hand only because I've learned some self defense before. '

"So... are you going to stay here?" Luffy asked.

"Uh... no I don't think so, but I'll come as much as possible from the village." Rin answered.
