The bandit leader looked at Jason with a look of ridicule.

He let out a cough as said in a weak voice

"heh.. why would I tell you something you already know"

and saying that the bandit leader closed his eyes for the last time while Jason and Boops both screamed out of sadness at their lost opportunity.

Jason was a bit dissapointed at the exp but walked over to the loot that was lying on the forest floor.

The body of the bandit leader didn't dissapate like the bodies of the other monsters and bandits he had fought before. Instead of dissapating into a burst of blue light. His body seemed to slowly wither away until it dissapated into dust and sunk into the earth until no sign of him could be seen.

Two items were left by the bandit leader, one of them gave a royal purple glow and the other a regular blue color.

As Jason got closer to them he could see that the item glowing royal purple was actually a belt. He picked it up and felt a wave of cold energy send shivers down his arm. It was a black leather belt with lots of daggers sheathed in it.

Jason unsheathed a dagger and looked at the deadly daggers that almost took his life. He also looked at the information on the belt

Jason looked at the information and sighed. Perhaps he could use it some other day, but for now, it wasn't very useful, maybe he could give it to somebody else he said to himself as he placed it into his inventory.

He checked out the other piece of loot but only came upon the great sword that the bandit leader had used, it was a common piece of loot. though it did have the attribute to increase bleeding.

After grabbing the 4 silvers the bandit had dropped Jason ran back through the forest where Perseus was.

He rushed through the fear and worry he had for Perseus was now hitting him as he rushed as quickly as he could to where the guild wagon was waiting.

Jason burst through the clearing with his sword outstretched and a ferocious expression on his face as he prepared for himself for what he thought would be a hard battle.

But as he lept out all that came into his view, was Perseus sitting on the wagon with the rest of the guild members. The guild members were swinging their legs nonchalantly and Perseus sat cleaning his sword with a cloth.

Jason looked around to see the surroundings almost completely clear besides the large amounts of arrows that were embedded everywhere.

As Jason got closer he could see stacks of bows and quivers filled with arrows tucked into the wagon's baggage.

Jason looked at Perseus with his eyebrows raised while Perseus just shrugged in response.

Boops whispered to Jason that the guild members' levels had all been raised a bit. And even Perseus had gotten a breakthrough.

Jason sighed and shook his head as he walked to the side of the driver's seat of the wagon.

Perseus jumped off of the guild wagon and jumped into the driver's seat and grabbed the reigns.

The entire group of guild members seemed to happy and excited even though the last time he looked at them they seemed to be crying for the blood of the bandits.

Jason asked Perseus as they slowly road down the path through the dark forest.

"so" he said as he looked at Perseus suspiciously

"what did you do?"

Perseus let out a chuckle and replied

"if its archers all that you have to do is get close and then you can easily handle them"

Jason looked at Perseus even more until he finally told him.

He gave a loud sigh and said in an annoyed voice

"After I took down the majority of the group the guild members all wanted to take down the rest. They literally begged me, and I mean, I already too their weapons and anything that could injure them so after a bit of thinking I let them take care of the rest.

Jason looked at Perseus one more time while Perseus just counited to drive the wagon.

Finally, after a bit, Jason shook his head and gave up. The guild members were Perseus's direct guild members. He didn't think that Perseus would let the kids do all of that. But it had already happened and there was no point in being angry.

Jason leaned back on the wagon and looked up into the sky. It was now almost pitch place and it was around midnight now. Jason let out a soft yawn and thought about going to sleep after the intense battle.

Perseus asked quickly as Jason looked up at the beautiful stars that shone in the sky.

"so what are we going to do now?"

Jason said in an almost lazy fashion

"those are the dudes from the bandits you already fought right? let's take them out, or more importantly, make the guild's surroundings safe."

Perseus agreed and after a few minutes of silence, they finally reached the clearing and went down the road that reached the guild house.

As they got closer they could see all of the wolves and Natalie who were waiting for them at the frount of the mouse.

The wolves after spotting Jason quickly ran as fast as they could to where Jason was. While Perseus tried to hide as they look Natalie gave to him made him want to become a tree.

She walked up the Perseus who was trying his best to hide behind the wagon.

"what happened," she said as she looked at both Jason and Perseus

Jason stepped up and answered as he helped the kids get off of the wagon and also handing them stuff to take into the house.

"We got ambushed by some bandits, apparently they are part of some big organizations though I'm not sure what"

Natalie's expression changed when she heard that. Jason realized that she was a bit scared and quickly reaplied

"don't worry, we will take care of the bandits soon

Natalie looked at Jason and said with a concerned voice

"are you sure"

Jason gave a soft laugh and showed the rose that was on his amour. The glowing rose seemed to give off a soft glow.

Jason looked at Natalie in the eye and said

"I'm a rose knight, trust me, your son will be safe"

Natalie seemed to calm down and gave a nod to Jason and walked back into the house. Perseus looked at Jason and gave a small smile as he helped bring back the fish and loot they had brought back.

It took all of them a few trips to get all of the bows and arrows that the bandits had dropped. Perseus could already imagine what could be done with the large amount of them, and from what he remembered there was a good number of guild members who actually had talents for bows.

Jason tried his best to sneak into the guild house. Since the rest of the guild members were all fast asleep.

The wolves all went to the barrack on the left and started to sleep.

Jason and Perseus both after checking on everyone with the help of Boops headed up to the 3rd floor and went to their separate rooms.

Jason quickly logged out.

As as he opened his eyes he could finally breathe again, he looked outside to see the night sky. The pitch-black sky with only the moon and stars to give light.

The silence that he saw instead of the chaos he had seen before slowly caused him to relax.

He looked around and walked around his apartment he checked out the kitchen and grabbed some apples to much on as he relaxed on the couch in the living room.

After he calmed himself down, he walked over to his room and leaped into his room.

Jason couldn't lie, he felt so tired the moment his head touched the pillow his eyes started to close and he didn't have the energy to fight against it.

Boops for once started to play a lullaby for Jason. And Perseus walked in a turned off the lights for Jason.

And soon, Jason fell into an extremely deep sleep. A much-needed one which he hadn't gotten in a while.
