Although he was exhilarated by his newfound ability to change the form of his fire spear, David was also disappointed he could not currently run a more efficient test because it was dead in the night, and there was also no suitable target he could use as an excuse to employ his ability.

His disappointment only lasted for a short while, though, as David became excited again. Though it was disappointing he could not use his ability now due to the inappropriate time, it wasn't like he could not experiment with it later.

David continued to rest his back on the van roof as various thoughts flashed through his mind. Tonight could be said to be the most particularly fruitful one for him because aside from effectively moving the energy in his body better than before, he had also discovered another aspect of his ability.

However, the emergence of the new functionalities of his ability made David contemplate a very important issue: the name of his ability.
