Life as a...(2)

Tendo: 'Moryo, it seems that I forgot that you would be the perfect one for this situation.'

Moryo: 'Hm, Tendo give me a bit of control over your body, I will guide you while you move to show you how it's done. After all, if you die, I die along with you.'

Tendo didn't waste any time as he was still fighting and gave a small bit of control to Moryo. As if it had suddenly gained new life, Tendo's body began maneuvering through every attack from the other snakes easily and quickly while devouring them. Moryo was guiding Tendo's every move as his original body was also a serpentine one, so this was as easy as breathing to him. About two days later, Tendo/Moryo finally devoured about 10,000 small snakes and they were still going. He had doubled in size, but, unfortunately, their streak wasn't going to be allowed to carry on so easily.

A large white snake, about the length of 5 adult men, appeared out of between the smaller snakes that it was using as its camouflage and managed to clasp onto Tendo's lower body, ripping him in half with one swift movement. Tendo wasn't expecting such a vicious attack so he quickly pulled himself away from the large snake who vanished once again in between the smaller snakes.

Tendo's Byakugan was currently weakened at this time as his snake form wasn't strong yet so that's why he didn't notice the snake coming. His heat senses were also severely underdeveloped. He could only rely on his weakened sight to fight. The damage done to Tendo was severely hurt but it wasn't anything that he couldn't heal by devouring a few snakes. He was trying to find the large snake that bit him but he realized that his opponent's ability to camouflage was certainly one of a high degree.

Moryo: 'Tendo, the opponents will only get stronger from here on out. We need to use every ability you have access to if we are to survive.'

Tendo: 'I already have a few ideas. If it works, we live, if it doesn't, we die. Our healing factor in this form is good but it's not what my original body was. The larger we get, the more of my abilities return. By that time, I will have already mastered this body. Now, that snake wants to hide huh?'

Tendo ran through and devoured a few more snakes to heal a bit before he started focusing the natural energy within himself. He was still in between the massive amount of snakes so he slithered through multiple attacks until he touched the ground and as soon as he did, Tendo used the mayfly technique to merge with the ground.

The snakes immediately lost track of his presence, including the large snake. Now that Tendo had some time to himself, he figured that he needed a better and faster way of attacking. He couldn't use any weapons as, of course, his body wouldn't allow it and his body wasn't strong enough yet to use as a blunt force weapon. So, after a minute or so of thought, he came up with the idea to turn himself into a spear of sorts.

By using the natural energy in his body and in the atmosphere, he was going to shape it into the point of a spear that would be centered around the front of his body. In his mind, he envisioned that he was the spear that 'he' normally used and he would move his body accordingly by using the natural energy in the atmosphere to control every minute movement. He still needed Moryo's help as this would require precise control so he told him the plan before he acted it out.

A few moments later, just as the large snake was about to stop looking for him, Tendo burst out of the ground and flew through the head of the snake, killing it immediately. The other snakes noticed and tried to attack him but he clasped onto the body of the snake and merged it into the ground with him, devouring it fully when they were underground. His body immediately healed and grew to the size of about 4 adult men. His width spanned about 48 inches so he was at a reasonable size for a start. Tendo immediately got out of the ground and started killing and devouring multiple snakes.

The rate at which he was devouring them was almost tripled from before. By using the technique of directing and moving within the natural energy in the atmosphere, Tendo could even redirect his movements mid-air. It was almost like he was flying. In about 12 hours, Tendo had already devoured 30,000 snakes and he wasn't about to tire anytime soon. If he kept this speed up, every day he would be able to devour 60,000 snakes and he had already devoured about 40,000 roughly.

By the time the day was done, he had devoured just over 70,000 and he had grown to about 25 meters in length, 120 inches in width. The days went on just like that, with Tendo getting better with controlling his body that was continuing to grow rapidly and using his earlier abilities that were slowly returning. His estimate of when he would be done devouring all the snakes went from 5 months to about 10 days at maximum. The bigger he got, the more snakes he could devour. There were snakes that were massive that didn't stand a chance against Tendo's current power even if he was smaller than them at the time.

[10 days later]

Tagorihime went down into the pits as she suddenly heard all the movements that usually happen there stop for some reason. When she tried to use her amplified heat senses, she couldn't sense anything but she felt like something was blocking her from doing so. She couldn't see anything from the top of the pits and that alone astonished her. When she arrived at the bottom, she noticed the room was empty.

That was until she realized that she wasn't standing on the ground at all. Whatever she was standing on was pitch black, living, breathing, and took over the entire pit. When she looked up and saw the black eyes with yellow slits staring at her, she couldn't move as the pressure coming off of the snake was enough to make her run away in absolute fear. But she didn't as the snake had her locked into his gaze.
