Becoming A Sage.(1)

Tendo: "Tagorihime? Yes, it is I."

BOOM! As Tendo spoke, the caves started shaking as his ancient-sounding voice pounded through every corner of it. Tagorihime was stricken with fear as she ran her eyes across Tendo's massive body. Every snake in the cave stopped moving and looked to the direction on the pits. They knew that a new contender for power was born. Tagorihime was even more surprised when she looked under his chin and saw that he had developed a Reverse Scale. This was something that only appeared in the most aggressive and brutal snakes. There weren't many in the past that developed it and for Tendo to get one so quickly said a lot about his personality.

Tagorihime gulped and took a deep breath before looking into the eyes of Tendo once again. She had to somehow guide him to the White Snake Sage but she didn't even know where to begin. Tendo already sensed her emotions and decided to talk to her instead. As soon as he was going to open his mouth, Tagorihime noticed and cut him off as she didn't want any more damage to be done to the cave.

Tagorihime: "U-um, Tendo. Since you're done, the White Snake Sage will see you now. P-please follow me."

Tagorihime quickly jumped up on the walls of the pits flickered out, running towards the Sage without looking behind to see if Tendo was following her. A few moments later she finally arrived in front of the White Snake Sage. She looked exhausted as she began stuttering wildly and pointed behind her in absolute trepidation:

"Miss, T-tendo, h-he...h-he's big..he's-"

"I am what?"

Tendo's ancient voice sounded once again behind Tagorihime. She jumped back as she didn't sense him appear behind her. The White Snake Sage was pleasantly surprised as she didn't expect him to grow so much or finish his task this quickly. Even his color had changed drastically from the white she had seen him with the last time. The thing she was most impressed by was his voice though.

White Snake Sage: "Tendo, you've gotten to be quite big. But is this the whole length of your body?"

Tendo: "No, most of it is hidden underground."

The cave started shaking again and The White Snake Sage couldn't help but sigh when she saw it. His voice was impressive but too destructive. If he kept talking he would eventually destroy the cave so the Sage had Tendo just nod his head when she spoke to him. She wanted to ask him how he finished everything so fast but she ended up deciding against it as everyone had their secrets.

Sage: "Alright, Tendo. Now that you've achieved the first step, now you can go into meditation and absorb as much natural energy until you feel like you're a part of it yourself. This process will take no less than a year. By the time you're done, you should have already become a sage, but not one on my level. You'll need even more meditation to do that. Tagorihime, take him to a large room so that he can begin."

Tagorihime: "But, miss-"

Sage: "Take. Him."

Tendo nodded and Tagorihime unwillingly had to be with him again. She started taking him to the room and they finally arrived a few minutes later. It was just as Tendo expected, just a large opening in the cave, nothing special, but it could work. Tagorihime hurriedly left and Tendo fit himself right into the opening, thinking about what he can do for the year he would be in meditation.

The first thing he did was to manifest two wood clones of himself. He still needed to gather artifacts that would power him up even though he would be busy and his clones should be able to handle most opponents in the Shinobi world at this time. The clones rose up out of the ground and awaited Tendo's instructions.

Tendo: 'Your first objective is to bring me the Stone of Gelel. You already know where it is as you are a clone of myself so there's no need for me to tell you that. The second clone, your objective is to bring me the treasured meteorite from Hoshigakure. If they don't want to give it up, as I'm sure they wouldn't, destroy them thoroughly and take it for yourself. No survivors, No future 'avengers', understood?'

The clones nodded and left abruptly to do their duties. Tendo spoke to Moryo a bit about watching over his body before finally secluding himself in meditation. He started the Black Dragon Cosmic Technique and closed his eyes to focus on the task ahead.

[A few days later in Hoshigakure]

The once semi-peaceful village was now under siege by one man. The bodies of multiple dead shinobi were laying all around and a white-haired young man with a bloodied katana in his hand was standing in between them. Most of the village was already destroyed from his destructive sword attacks and there were only a few shinobi left that were actually combat able. In front of Tendo was a man with the treasured meteorite embedded in his chest, the self-proclaimed Kage of Hoshigakure, Akahoshi.

Akahoshi: "Hahahaha! You'll never claim this meteorite! I'd rather destroy it than to let it fall into the hands of anyone else other than mys-"

Tendo flickered behind Akahoshi and with one slash, he took off his head while taking the meteorite away from his chest, putting it in his pouch. He then stuck his sword into the ground and opened both of his hands as a white light started emitting from his body.

Tendo: "Since you still offered resistance, destruction will be the only future of this village. Asura Blood Demonic Technique: Demon Orb: Light of Annihilation."
